Just listened....great stuff, although it's so frustrating hearing half answers and responses that don't really tell us anything.

These guys must really be scared to death of Lin Wood and his cronies, it's pretty disturbing. Steve Thomas must have suffered enormously and I'm impressed he even talks about anything anymore.

I have to agree that it is very frustrating that neither of these two fine men can actually come out and SAY exactly what they know. Some evidence remains sealed in unsolved cases and 1. it would probably be an indictable offense to release it, 2. It might jeopardize any chance of conviction if it ever did come to trial, and 3. LW and his lawsuits, designed to make financial ruin of anyone accusing his clients of anything.

I almost don't want to hear/read anything else from case insiders until they CAN say it.

Wasn't he prohibited from making further comments but allowed to leave his book in print?

(Excerpt)
"Lawsuit Conclusion Letter
August 6, 2002

A Letter From Steve Thomas <snip>

I am bound by the terms of the settlement not to discuss its conclusive points but I can tell you this: it was a thoughtful, deliberate decision. For the record, I was not the one who sought out a settlement in this case."

Good catch redheadedgal. It's ambiguous. But he does say he hasn't changed his mind about the case.

Y'all are very kind. With the holidays in full swing, I am a bit tied up at the moment. But I appreciate your thoughts and will be back, as you have raised some very interesting issues.

And I am always up for a good discussion on the case...god help me. :pullhair:

In the meantime, OTG, BOESP, and others have a great discussion going on simultaneously here and at FFJ on the head and neck injuries, which is fascinating.
