all this drama seems to stem from some obscure rules concerning Royalty, Aristocracy, etc.

And Kate is "a girl of the people".
And that is her strength!
That is why she is so loved by, as some say, commoners haha

I think Catherine has been wonderful for the Royal family, in various difficult circumstances, and I wish her all the best in her recovery. It was lovely to see her radiant smile in those photos from the weekend.

Um, yes maybe that's because the media incessantly refer to her as Kate Middleton. It's ugly and disrespectful. Readers are too stupid to know her by anything other than her childhood name. Sure. It's one more act of bullying by the media, disguised as catering to the oh, so stupid public.

Kate dated Wills for 10 years so Kate Middleton was used by the palace and press.

Now look at it this way.....

Meryl Streep was in movies and the press reported on her as MS. She married and changed her name to Gummer but the public knows her as MS.

It is like this for many many women. Rita Wilson was a known actress who married Tom Hanks, changed her name to Hanks but is only known to the public as RW.

It is actually respectful to give a woman her real birth name...It is who she really is.

The Sydney Morning Herald posted these great photos which showed Pippa looking proudly at her sister during the standing ovation and Princess Charlotte having an enjoyable time with her Mum.
