Lol. I would say most of the people I know do not either. I have had many friends and acquaintences for over 50 years and they are ordinary people .

One gag photo

There was one gag photo in Franken's case, back from when he was a comedian. There were no other "pictures" supporting the allegations. Some photos of him posing, that don't show any actual groping. In Kavanaugh's case, if you want proof of questionable behavior, look at his yearbooks.

Sorry I don't buy that for one minute. Franken had plenty of viable claims beyond just a photograph. Note the word "viable".

As for yearbooks, your interpretation isn't necessarily the correct one.

As far as the "gag" photo, apparently the women in the photo didn't feel it was a gag. And if you see that is a gag, why don't you interpret what you read in Kavanaughs annual to be a gag as well?

Really? Never took medication for depression? That is a serious mental illness. Never flunked an exam? That is an indicator of poor concentration, and probably unsuitable for SCOTUS.

Or, perhaps you have lived a life of perfection, and privilege. Most of the rest of the great unwashed have less than stellar histories.

Me, no.

I find it very unusual that one would think that. Probably the very rich have lives with questionable things, but the middle class is too busy raising families and working .

What exactly makes claims against Franken "viable" but claim of a woman who says Kavanaugh exposed himself to her not "viable?" And interpretations Kavanaugh gave for his yearbooks-I don't buy those for a second. Does anybody buy them?

So human nature is a class based phenomena, yes?

One has to be wealthy to have problems in their life?

I'm about as middle class as they come actually in my younger days I was less than middle class... and I followed the rules... and yet if someone wanted to look hard, and maybe twist things to suit their needs, I'm sure they could come up with something that would keep me from running for office.

The point here is not whether someone made mistakes or didn't make mistakes, the point is there is always something in everyone's background that can be misconstrued, particular day where politics are involved.

What does your family being liberal have anything to do with my post?

Oh sorry. Must be tired. I thought you were talking to me about my grandchildren. Never mind then

Just got home from work. Watching today's coverage.

Dr. Collins, Thank you for expected Due Diligence. You rock Doctor, Senator.

Thank you.

Many many THANKS.

Photos, the people that were present when that photo was taken, the people who came forward and backed up the accusations that a number of women I believe it was 5 or 6 made... over the course of his adult years... people who stories actually checked out.

Anyone can misconstrue something because of their perception. But it can be set straight when explained, The reasonable clause. Reasonable people looking at something.

What do reasonable people think boofing is? Interview many students from that school and era and one will get the answer. Just an example.

I was in my last sentence, but that still has nothing to do with you, your family or your grandchildren being liberal.

Oh my gosh, and I am now reading/watching coverage on folks getting arrested protesting. Uhhh, lots of them. Hope they don't plan on crossing Peace Bridge.

Woman who claims Kavanaugh exposed himself to her supposedly has witnesses. Do they not count as people?

I know what boofing is because I've heard the term previously and it was not used in the context as was claimed by many in the media and in the Democratic Senate.

As I mentioned in another post when my daughter was little we referred to farts as fluffing.

If you know anythinganythingl sadly, about how 🤬🤬🤬🤬 is created, you might know what fluffing or a fluffer is.

One very innocent term can be used for something that not so innocent.

That is why a smart thing to do is ask the students of that time and place what it means.

We always said fart. Never heard the term fluffing for farting. Must be regional.

In context, I sincerely doubt the question was "have you farted yet?" That makes no sense whatsoever.
"Senators pressed Kavanaugh during testimony last week about pages in his senior yearbook that included the phrases “Have You Boofed Yet?” and a reference to the “devil’s triangle.” The judge painted the entries as relatively innocent, telling lawmakers that the word “boof” “refers to flatulence” and that “devil’s triangle” was a “drinking game.”"

I believe that he will be a strict constitutionalist. He won't be interpreting the constitution to manipulate laws to fit an agenda. Our courts have become far too liberal. The Ninth circuit thinks that it is a kingdom, and literally works to thwart law Enforcement officers.

Literally?
