These kind of false reports will hurt Kavanaugh in the polls. JMO

I think false claims hurt people more that are coming forward to tell their true stories.
Some might think if one person lied they all might be fabricating stories for attention. IMO

I wonder what they feel an FBI investigation would accomplish besides a delay in the confirmation vote?

Anyone who would be willing to help her would have come forward on their own by now and there's nothing the FBI could do to change that in my opinion.

Better late than never, I say. Like I said, the investigation would likely be done by now and the delay wouldn’t resemble anything it does currently if it would have been done in the first place.

Which means worrying whether anyone else would have come forward to “help her by now” would be irrelevant. That was my point. Apologies if I wasn’t clear.

Besides the nominee, the only other common element to the 1st (Ford), 2nd (Ramirez), and the anonymous CO reports is copious alcohol consumption by the nominee. I hope he is asked about his alcohol use and answers honestly. His college roommate also mentions drunk and belligerent behavior. It seems to me that the nominee at that time had a major issue with alcohol abuse.

Anyone who is innocent is hurt by false accusations. There's no side to take on that.

The problem that I have with this whole situation is I have no way to tell who is lying, mistaken or telling the truth. JMO

Sorry I don't understand. You basically repeated your previous post.

It does seem to be a common theme and would be hard for an honest person to dispute that his drinking was an issue.
Now we will hear that many partied back in the day (including myself) but we didn't (I hope) cause harm to others as a result.IMO

Why would an educated and well respected woman come forward and make these claims risking her credibility and safety if they were not true?
We are not talking about people looking for five minutes of fame.

True on the false accusations.
All we can do is base our opinions on what we do know and it won't be up to us to decide the outcome one way or the other. IMO

Sorry. I can't answer that directly. Sillybilly has not responded to my questions about how I can post about victims on this thread.

I don't want to "cast aspersions" against anyone.

Well said.

I do sometimes feel powerless about the things that matter to me and it makes me feel dejected.

I do as well but I know that everything is subject to change and that gives me hope.

True. You replied, curious as to whether anyone who might have come forward to “help her” would have done so “by now.” So I reiterated the topic actually being discussed in the prior posts. If you’re still confused, the posts are still there; I haven’t edited them.

After further review I still don't get your point so I think it's time to just move on.

Which victims are you speaking of? Do you want to post gossip about victims. I have seen on facebook how she had 69 sexual partners and is called all the names that men call women who actually have sex with anyone but them. And are called those names anyway when they no longer want to have sex with them. Then as usual have to manufacture lies about how many men she had sex with. I don't care how many men she supposedly had sex with and nor should you.
Who kept that count of how many men she had sex with? Were they following her around and have photographic evidence?
Liars the lot of them. Small gossipy little men.

Looking forward to the "hearing" and hope we stay open so we can discuss it. IMO
G'night all.

Sillybilly said that all of Kavanuagh's accusers are victim's. That's who I'm talking about.

I certainly do not want to post any gossip and I don't use Facebook so I have no idea what all this "stuff" you're posting about.

Two men say they, not Brett Kavanaugh, may have been responsible for Christine Blasey Ford assault

Two men claim responsibility Christine Blasey Ford assault

Two men have come forward to tell Senate investigators they, not Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, could have been responsible for the encounter Christine Blasey Ford describes when she says she was sexually assaulted at a high school party 36 years ago.
