As for the question "did you ever have blackouts?" Why did he throw the question back? After admitting he drank a lot, how can he be sure he remembers everything? With his non answer it nearly seems he's doubting himself, but won't admit to the doubt. Strange exchange.

He’s not doubting himself. He’s evading answering. Because he knows he’s blacked out/not remembered drunken behaviors.

Why didn't they ask for an investigation in July? That would make the most sense. The dems didn't think Dr. Ford was credible or it was a political tactic to delay a vote. IMO

At this point, I think he showed himself as unfit and unable to handle pressure, or conduct himself properly. This is whether a person believes the allegations, or not. There is experiencing the gravity of the situation and there is being incapable of handling it. He couldn't handle it. I can understand even being emotional or angry...but he was an unhinged jerk.
