Days before a Washington state custody hearing for the children of missing West Valley City mother Susan Powell, the family of Joshua Powell launched a new website to advance child abuse allegations against the boys’ maternal grandparents, Chuck and Judy Cox.

'I'm sorry, goodbye': Suspect husband of missing Utah woman kills himself and their two young sons in gas blast

A husband, who was under investigation in the 2009 disappearance of his wife, today apparently killed himself and his two young children in a gas explosion at his home.

Josh Powell greeted his sons for a supervised visit before bundling them inside the Washington state home and blocking a social worker from entering.

Moments later an explosion ripped through the rental home in Graham, killing Powell and his two boys, aged five and seven.
