I don't think you have to have a masters to be temporarily employed at a university. Depending on which university it is and what their employement regulations are. I believe only those who are seeking tenure need to have a doctorate...not sure about that though.BlueCrab said:Twilight,
"Director of Research" is misleading; Susan Stine's title at CU was Director of Planning. She specialized in the information technology field. Glen Stine held a PhD from Harvard, but I don't know if Susan was a PhD. She likely held at least a master's degree or she wouldn't be employed at the University. Glen was Vice President for Budget and Finance.
Just about anyone can apply to become a member of a committee...even students.
