Do we have anymore information released or found about the Burner Phone.............

I think its a key piece of evidence as to who originally purchased the phone,

If it was DM i speculate that it was purchased for some sinister motive,

and if MS purchased it (speculating due to credit issues), this phone would never be linked to him so using it for what ever purpose he needed sinister or other wise.

I would love to know what numbers were actually called from the "burner Phone"............

there is no photo - it was described in the news article by the reporter who saw him in court

You have to wonder when and where he sustained these injuries. The picture of him at his sisters wedding (this past saturday) show's no signs of a black eye or "scratch" on his face. Something happened to him in the 3 days leading to his arrest.

Maybe LE knew MS was on the move, because his cell signal told them so... but when they picked him up, he had ditched the phone. I would like to know if police followed him out of the house, or if they just spotted him walking and picked him up. To have that many police on the scene, they must have had the house under watch.

Continuously following this case and here is the way i see it so far.

Just my opinion here:

1) Dellen is the mastermind. He realized from the start that MS and suspect #3 will probably come across as the "thugs & troublemakers".

Or he might have been so doped up he would not been able to think straight to figure a master plan. It probably never occured to him he would be caught. The killing does not look like the work of a criminal genius.

2) DM's only chance is to try the "unwilling participant" defence. Try to build a case around these two thugs threatening him and forcing DM to burry evidence, etc. Tough but probably the only viable option.

Good luck with that ! As I said in another thread, any screen play Bollywood can dream up will be instantly trashed by an accusing finger of SB, and her testifying that these guys were 'friendly' and in good mood.

3) DM is fully aware that his financial means will likely buy him the best defence out of the 3+ suspects. He needs to see what the other suspects say to LE before forming his defence, hence the "silence".

5) MS seems to have had several very close friends who are standing up for him and are very vocal about it. (Based on FB and MSM interviews). People don't just jump in the public eye defending an accused murderer the day he is arrested unless they truly believe him to be a "good guy"!

7) Premeditation is quite evident. Even just based on what we know (Other test drive, throw away cellphone, truck in trailer, etc.) They obviously wanted that type of truck...to me this is clear. If you plan to commit a robbery/car jacking and you kill someone in the process, its still murder!

True but premeditation will not be a legal issue since TB was forcibly confined. Murder One in such cases (in the commission of another crime) is automatic. ....I see now you are covering that as No.9

8) The real question is did they mean to kill Tim from the start? I am afraid that we may never know the truth here. It's possible that they planned the murder from the start, even if DM was the mastermind, it wouldn't be the first time that someone with a dominant personality is able to convince others to participate in a murder. On the other hand, maybe the plan went completely sideways, they killed Tim accidentally in a tussle and panicked, tried to cover it up and left a ton of evidence in the process.

I don't think there is any danger of that. The Homolka deal was an aberration motivated by the crazy feminist convictionc of the former Ontario AG (Marion Boyd). She was determined to make Homolka a victim and (brought in [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catharine_MacKinnon"]Catharine MacKinnon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] to make that happen). When the videos showed up, she might have been gone but in the process, the deal became such a hot potato that no-one would touch it. The thing is many LEs would have looked really bad and the last thing anyone in that profession would want to do is make another LE look like scum. To many live in glass houses.

In cotrast, DM does not stand as a poster boy for any currently popular political preoccupations. There simply would not be to make any deal with him or anyone else who had a hand in this. At the worst, I expect a deal with an 'accessory after the fact' that will not matter that much.

My opinion differs based on the accumulation of what we have seen, know and such... but, I DO agree that MS did not have the means to purchase the truck...

1) DM denies talking to LB until evidence is shown to him (phone bill) that he as the last person to talk to her. This is hearsay from the last known person to see LB alive. Each call lasted only 1 minute between the pair with, I believe, 1 call lasting 2 minutes. I'd say DM was hanging up on her. I don't think there is any connection at all between DM and LB's disappearance.

2) According to LB's ex, DM had stated to him, he was supplying her with an illegal substance and she had a problem. I don't recall seeing this anywhere. I recall that DM said LB had been asking him for cocaine and he had declined.

3) "Possible" POI in WM death. (to be determined) LE has stated that this investigation is closed. They are satisfied. I have seen first hand what a suicide victim can do to their own body, and a shot to the eye is nothing.

4) Gaming site photo altered in a manner that "could" be similar in appearance to that of WM at the time of death (to be confirmed)Being an idiot doesn't make you a murderer lol

5) Been associating with MS since Baja days according to photo with Blue Car pictured at MS residence.Being associated with a murderer doesn't make you a murderer

6) ... leave it at that... For real? A lot of people look at and they are not criminals.

And I come back to the same issue regarding DM and his involvement...

DM brought the 2nd truck, 3rd person, left it completely out of site... the argument (prior) about the area being dark, maneuvering through the driveway etc... well its a lot harder to do that out on a road in the dark with possible ditches or traffic. (jmo) This is all speculation. We don't know that the third vehicle was "hidden" at all.

Whatever went down in the truck, we will not know until all things are said and done in the courts... what we DO know is that a struggle went down, we do know that the cell was turned off within a mile of the house and we do know that TB was killed in the truck according to LE.

If you were not expecting any of this... and things just went nuts and it was not about the truck... then why not dump everything?

Take it out and burn it, don't keep it.

Why keep the truck, have an incinerator that is used for animals out on a vacant farm, cut the victim up and try to dispose of his body AFTER the fact? You are saying things that we don't know...no one has ever said that TB's body what cut up!!

No, I do not and will not believe that the older, DM was in over his head... but, that's just my thoughts ♥

Reposting just because i am curious to see what some of your expert sleuths think of these thoughts. Obviously, this is just IMHO with several assumptions:

5) MS seems to have had several very close friends who are standing up for him and are very vocal about it. (Based on FB and MSM interviews). People don't just jump in the public eye defending an accused murderer the day he is arrested unless they truly believe him to be a "good guy"! This tells me that this guy probably does have feelings and emotions. Remorse will eat him up and hopefully that leads to a full confession on whatever his involvement was. Reports of Mark Smich being drunk during his arrest early in the morning also point towards a guilty conscience.

6) DM being the older guy with money and means to do fun things (i.e. drugs, parties, trips, Baja races, etc.) should have no problem exerting influence over younger guy(s). Based on old FB pictures, it looks like DM has known MS for several years, meaning they met when MS would probably 22-23 if not younger.

When this case first broke, i saw a screenshot of the Kijiji truck ad posted by TB and thought that the phone number was listed. Maybe you had to be logged in to see it? Also, i think several other members here confirmed seeing the same thing.

I have bought/sold dozens of things on Kijiji and usually you have two options. Either contact the seller through email via Kijiji or by calling them directly at the listed phone number.

Perhaps the number of removed at some point AFTER the TB went missing? I haven't followed the latest comments from Kijiji but this is my recollection.

With 'ya on that! When DM was initially arrested his lawyer said he knew him on another matter...IMO there's a possibility DM'slawyer knows of MS as well..and convinced LE that his "wealthy, mild mannered, humble, "not a brat rich kid" could never have been involved in mugging someone. Thus...police logically determined that the 3rd individual had nothing to do with it. IMO DM's may have gotten away with a lot of things in his short 27 years...

We have yet to hear about forensic investigations being conducted at other properties and on other vehicles connected to DM. This one may not be related but I feel there will be more discoveries like this that are.

I did not personally see the ad but enough people here have made the statement that they saw it (as above), that I've been going with the assumption that "Kijiji" is doing damage control (ok, lying).

(And if anyone has screenshots of the original ad with phone number, it's going to make them look even worse. Honestly, I've never even heard of this site, been assuming it's a Canadian thing, but if they lied after the fact about his number being on there, it would make me much less likely to place an ad with them than if they just expressed sympathy and warned people not to meet with buyers alone.)

I'll bite:

Not an indication of being a murderer and obviously hingsight is 20/20 so we can dream up all kinds of correlations. Definetely not evidence for the case but it does say a bit about his character.

I would venture to say that its not uncommon for someone who was an "outsider" during his/her school years but as they reach adulthood they find their footing, make new friends and often look to make up the lost times by being extra social, etc. Perhaps as DM grew up, he realized that his financial position and properties created a very easy way of building a large group of "friends". (hosting parties, working on cars, etc.)

This method can obviously attract all types of people and its not too hard to see why a younger, poorer, more impressionable and a bit troubled individuals may be the perfect match for fast friends. Common interests like cars, drugs, etc. will add to it.

Interesting fact, Kijiji is advertising like crazy on local TV now.
When I was watching the last presser on CP24 right before it there we commercials for Kijiji. I have never seen them before until recently.

Re... Burner phone. Could be how the LE found the first test drive? If they have the number of the burner phone, I would think they could get the history. TBs cell had DMs number in his cell. I would think that is where the extended list of friends came from as well. There is 3 months of calls on DMs cell.
