I remember his C.O. saying they had checked his logs, and at the time of her murder his log stated he was across town giving a ticket to someone.

That's why I'm wondering how much leeway was given Drew while on duty the day KS died.

Well, it just goes to show that if a police officer goes bad, he (or she) has ample and special resources to carry out crimes and get away with them.

I saw both the first version, which showed the first wife's husband talking, and the second version, which only paraphrased part of what he said, on CLTV. I couldn't find a video of either version on their site. I, also, was wondering why they changed this news report.

I think Drew would say he was quite the romantic fellow. If anyone was degraded, it was him!

This is a good point in all seriousness. I bet in the beginning he was all fun and romance, but towards the end abuse and degradation melded in with the sex.

I wonder if either KS or SP talked to anyone about that part of their life...

Your comment got me thinking about how Peterson really wanted a "Stepford" wife (and life). He couldn't handle a normal relationship with two smart, beautiful women so he got rid of them.

This crossed my mind also as I watched Matt's interview yesterday.

And what happened in the original Stepford Wives movie? Wives are killed and replaced with compliant and obedient versions (albeit robotic).

Honestly, I dont think Stacy's menstrual cycle had anything to do with anything at all. He is just a jerk who abuses and possibly kills women. He is using the menstrual cycle as an excuse to justify his actions (whatever he did/may have done) to himself. And using a woman's period against her to make her sound crazy is not only degrading to Stacy, it is also degrading to women all over.

It seems to me that there were dirty cops on the force that covered up DP's old charges stemming from the drug dealers giving him drugs, while he outed a fellow undercover cop to them. Heck of a nice guy this DP.

Then, he seems to be flying just under the radar as a pedo by making sure that Stacey was infact old enough to date and sexually seduce, even though he was 30 years her senior.

Then when things start unraveling with wife #3, he, IMHO, murders her to make it look like an accident. But a very ridiculous accident, death by drowning, and hitting your head, and various other body parts, while trying to bathe in a mini-spa tub, all the while not prepared to bathe because your very long hair is not in a shower cap or tied up on your head, so you really couldn't have been bathing anyway.

Which was exactly what he told wife #2 whenever she got out of line with him, he could murder her and make it look like an accident.

Then you make a bad call and tell an officer to give chase and the chase ends badly, and you're under review. After all the years on the force, you have no fear because you think you're buddies will have your back.

Then your 4th wife starts having hormone issues, as well as depression, WHICH SHE IS BEING TREATED FOR, then you alledge she wanted a divorce, then she wants to run away with her lover to the Bahamas, then you alledge no she just found someone else, then wait no she has gone off before like this, shades of her mother.... But it's just one of those things, she's where she wants to be.

Give me a break..the guy is going down and even his buddy the mayor can't help him this time. This little town has really got some crooked cops from the past, but the present police chief seems to know what he is doing and his other officer friends may find it harder to walk that thin blue line with him. But dirty cops, dirty politics, and thinking you can get away with murder is an old story.

I think justice will be served..but it will take a while. Also remember he has a pilot's license and a plane...no tower..poor Stacey may not even be in the state anymore.

They need to remove these children from his house ASAP.
