I've been thinking about Tom Morphey and the GJ.

I think that the GJ may have heard from Tom via a video conference or something of that sort. That has become very common in recent years. He would not have to leave the safety of a safe house or hospital and could be videod in on a two way device that would also allow the jurors to see and hear first hand and make any questions or comments they have known.

Also over at findSP site they are saying that Drew went to Wisconsin to visit his sister. I am wondering is this the same sister who took up for Tom in the news? If so I am surprised she would have invited Drew for Christmas..maybe he drove the parents and his kids up for a visit?

You could be right. LE has made certain TM has not been around media etc., at least it is what I believe. A video testimony would not be out of the question if he were being held in a safe location.

I see this as a real positive. I think LE had a lot of evidence that hasn't been made public. Tom Morphey may be their star witness, and he may know a lot.

I can only hope Tom knows a lot!! Someone needs to know something about what happened to Stacy to bring this case to a resolve. The longer it continues on without finding her, the closer it comes to growing cold. I don't want this to happen. They have gone to such lengths to search and to uncover the truth.

While Brodsky is 'revealing' the Mystery Man Text Message, we have a friend of Drew Peterson's being released Wednesday from the Will County Adult Detention Facility after posting 10 percent of a $50,000 bail after he was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend and her friend, then allegedly threatening a witness.

"Michael J. Robinson, 34, of Bolingbrook was charged with felony intimidation, misdemeanor battery and domestic battery, according to police and court documents."

goes on to describe the situation, what he did...

"Bolingbrook police sought a warrant for Robinson's arrest on battery charges, but given his friendship with Peterson, Glasgow referred the case to state police, Teppel said. He said the charge of witness intimidation was not lodged by his department. Court records show the intimidation charge was lodged after Robinson was accused of calling the third woman and threatening to hurt her if she spoke to investigators."

"His friendship with Peterson came to light after Ric Mims, a one-time friend of the former sergeant, told the National Enquirer that Robinson provided Peterson with a cell phone after police seized his old one as part of a search warrant. Mims said Peterson and Robinson behaved suspiciously, communicating in handwritten notes. Peterson said the only note passed contained his cell phone number."

"Peterson could not be reached for comment Wednesday but said last week he has known Robinson for nearly two decades. "He was just a kid on the street that I befriended, tried to keep him out of trouble," Peterson said.

And Robinson's argument with his girlfriend was over a telephone call? Phone call, text.... seems similiar doesn't it?

  • #188
Well, well..the company Drew keeps seem to be people very much like himself. Didn't like a phone message on her phone, so Robinson Beats her, and her friend up and then intimadates the other person at the apartment...what a guy. Did Robinson learn that behavior from his older friend Drew ? Glad this came to occur at the same time the racy message on Sacy's phone appears, they just gave the prosecution one more reason to suspect Drew. Birds of a feather and all that.

Just another instance of how wonderful Drew is: Took another kid off the street and tried to keep him out of trouble. Problem is that he learned from Drew and picked up his ways apparently.....

Ugh, there's something really, really unsavory about a 33 year old man befriending a 14 year old boy. In one interview he said he befriended him and they suddenly became "best friends". Given Drew's obvious attraction to teenaged girls (Stacy), I'm wondering if he's a pederast (a person who is attracted to older children, or teens). Pederasts are, like pedophiles, often attracted to EITHER sex.

I know if a grown man befriended my son or daughter at that age alarms would have gone off.

And someone else here has suggested, "birds of a feather flock together" - comparing Robinson's behavior to Drew's behavior.

You know Drew used that same line when reporters askied him about Ric Mimms breaking off his friendship with Drew. So what point is Drew trying to make with that statement?

I was referring to Drew's behavior of assaulting his past wives number 2 and 3..both had made those claims..nothing to do with Drew's sex life..more to do with the lack of respect that Drew has shown women in his own past.
Just MHO

According to the news article Chicoliving posted in the media thread, LE has new undisclosed info and they say that it points to DrewP more than ever. They say they are dismissing the alleged message that DrewP says that Stacy recieved. (That said, my thoughts it is most likely that LE will attempt to find the sender of that info, because they know that it is sure to be mentioned at trial)

That article that Chicoliving posted in the media thread says a lot with actually giving details. Here's the one sentence that jumped out at me:

"Additional investigative resources ... have provided additional investigative tracks that were not previously pursued," the statement added.

It sounds like the investigation has turned up other areas that haven't been checked out previously. I wonder if this has to do with another area where DP could have put her body? The use of the word, "tracks" and the fact LE states their undisclosed info points to DP more than ever, sounds like they have some good evidence.

Yipee!!! The noose is getting tighter around DP's neck!

I agree Leila. It appears that new leads are going to be investigated. We should be hearing/seeing some new searches going on in an area that has not been looked at yet. IMO (In finding Stacy's body)

If not that, IIRC, a body is not needed to make a charge against DP for the disappearance of Stacy. Maybe, that are gathering more solid evidence that proves DP was in fact involved in Stacy's disappearance but not the murder of Stacy. They can then arrest him for that and continue the search for Stacy's body. I would think a trial would not be started for at least 3 to 6 months after the initial arrest.

You know Drew used that same line when reporters askied him about Ric Mimms breaking off his friendship with Drew. So what point is Drew trying to make with that statement?

Drew constantly portrays himself as someone who rescues people. Kathleen was from a dysfunctional family, Stacy was from a dysfunctional family....he rescued both of them. These 2 guys were ones he rescued from the streets....he rescues - what a guy!

When things go sour, he then portrays himself as the victim. Everything is about him. Can we say narcissist?

Remember when he said (I'm paraphrasing) that he had basically led an honorable life? I think he actually believes that. The rescuer.

In a way, I think he believes that he rescued these people, and that they then owe him basically their life. He owns them. They are then his to do with as he pleases. When they no longer meet his needs, they are discarded.

Even this Morphey guy....a guy with difficulties....if he helped Drew with a blue container that could have held a body, then it's his obligation to say nothing....but if he does, well he's an unstable alcoholic who has had mental problems. You can't believe what he says.

It also seems that he has a need to feel superior and I believe that with these rescued people, he does feel superior.

This type of pattern of rescue, then using, seems to be an MO of his....JMO.

And let's not forget, when they turn on him or go missing........

they are hormonal...........

Another MO...........by explaining away.............

With this "new evidence", I'm wondering if it has anything to do with computers and the tracking of his online activities, etc.? He may not have realized how traceable your computer activities really are. Some people STILL don't realize that even if you erase your hard drive, computer experts CAN still retrieve information off of it. Maybe the reason he's not getting his computer(s) back is b/c there is evidence on there of foul play...maybe he was researching waterways, body decomposition processes, poisons, or chemicals...maybe there's evidence of him tracking Stacy's whereabouts, or researching other crimes in which men killed and "disappeared" their wives...you never know. Any of that can go toward showing premeditation and intent.

If DrewP does get involved with anyone, I hope it is someone as devious and cunning and as much as a user IMO as I think he is, it would be justice that somehow he could become the one used and abused. The black widow type who could target him for his money. As big as his ego is, he'd think she was attracted to him for his charm and sense of humor.

Then if 1 day he should go "missing" well heck, who'd really care?

VB

You know what's really sad Vegas Bride is that there are undoubtedly women out there who would love to date Drew. If you could really stand to date a man who probably killed at least two women, I guess you could take consolation in the fact that given the current circumstances, he's probably not dumb enough to actually do it again.
