What I find interesting is he is in a jail which he hasn't been in before (as far as I am aware - possibly was in there initially for his AB charge) and is still managing to get drugs in solitary confinement. What is also interesting is there is no evidence of the search and they are not pressing charges...... This case gets stranger by the minute. What's his end game surely state prison be more dangerous for him than a correctional facility.
See he is still getting someone to do his bidding by smuggling in drugs for his usage .
If they are wearing body cams at all times like stated then why did he go on to state that there is no video evidence of the search that resulted in him being found with drugs in his hand?officers who are dealing with AD at Obion County Jail are wearing body cams at all times. Sheriff Jackson testified to that. He testified that AD is causing an undue burden on his jail, security is a concern and keeping AD secure involves using a lot of his jail resources.
Captain Maynard testified to AD behaviors. Inmates can be written up by officers involved in specific incidents. Information is saved in our system. These reports are prepared in the regular course of their duties. Captain Maynard is the keeper of those records. Maynard had to deal personally with a feces incident that took place on September 30th. Maynard was notified by a sgt on shift, that AD had used feces to cover the cell door window (he had previously used paper to attempt to prevent staff from being able to visually check on him). This particular day he used his ownto prevent guards from being able to see him in his cell. The ability to see a prison is important the prisoner's safety and wellbeing, that of the guards, and to insure prisoner is complying with the rules.
The feces was used to form the words "I want to speak to my lawyer" (bro, seriously?? there are better ways to accomplish that)
Suboxone was located in AD's cell during a cell check and the prisoner was strip searched. The drugs were found on his person. He had approximately 39 strips of suboxone on him. Thus far he hasn't been charged with his possession in the jail of suboxone.
AD's attorney attempted to suggest the drugs were planted on him because he isn't allowed contact with other inmates. (I don't know how effectively that would affect Maynard's credibility since this whole case revolves around guard being complicit in the distribution of drugs in prison via drone drops JMO) Per Maynard body cam video does exist of the strip search and the finding of the drugs on AD, but it was not produced at court.
They have limited AD's access to writing paper due to the previous incidences of him using it to impede visibility into his cell.
I found his testimony credible thus far, I know others disagree but that is where I am at. As a side note Maynard needs to trim his beard and mustache. Watching him lick the hairs out of his way is distracting to the viewer.
I would have to rewatch but that isn't what I heard him say, do you have the minute mark on the video I linked? Otherwise I will have to rewatch when time allows to find that section of his testimony again. If they are wearing body cams at all times like stated then why did he go on to state that there is no video evidence of the search that resulted in him being found with drugs in his hand?
I am not on AD's side at all in any of this but there was nothing about Maynard's testimony seemed legit to me. Even down to his eye movements and pausing before answering most questions. Even starting to answer and then stopping and correcting himself at times.
I whole heartedly believe AD is being a nuisance in there, I just don't believe the drug part of it all. I believe that was made up to strengthen their case to get him moved. If it did in fact happen, there would be body cam footage of it (as stated by them themselves) and they would have charged him without a doubt.
I don't find AD at all credible either but how did he get hold of the suboxone if he's in Solitary?okay, rewatched that portion of the hearing. (21:30 mark) Strip searches are not recorded as a matter of practice. Maynard's subordinates who handled the strip search as he handled the cell search reported that during the strip search AD had the suboxone in his hand and surreptitiously tossed it to the floor so as not to be caught with it in his possession.
I still believe LE, I surely don't believe AD. Given his prior crimes, and the ones he is accused of here, I don't find him in any way a victim or credible and it surprises me that some do.
I don't find AD at all credible either but how did he get hold of the suboxone if he's in Solitary?
Please also don't read this as me doubting you personally, I am genuinely flummoxed!
Wasn’t KS pregnant with AD’s baby? Does anyone know if she’s given birth? Brayden unknowingly buying his family’s shroud, really got to me.Thank you for all this. I'm happy to know that most of them told LE everything. That makes things a lot simpler. It makes me so sad that Brayden unknowingly bought the tarps that would be his family's shroud.
So very interesting that KS hung up on AD. Would love to know why she hung up.Was it a signal that it was done? Was she mad at him over something? And why does she want to speak with him now? Are they partners in something, or does she want to spit in his face? Can't wait to find out.
Phew
