Not much has been said about the type of pants. I don't see back pockets. Is he wearing some type of sweatpants , perhaps over jeans?
Yes, the pants are interesting, good post.

Considering what I would guess his age range is and the task he was embarking on I would guess he would go for some sort of BDU type pant. He planned for not shedding DNA, not being recognized with the mask, and brought a back pack. What's with the lack of pockets?

But I will say I have pocket envy of men's pants. Why are women's pant pockets so small!?

Also, the backpack is open on top so bending too much could cause stuff to fall out.
I can get behind it behind open, but to me bending with both legs and squating gets you closer to lantana without bending as much. But agree, could’ve been the reason.

Yes, definitely. Idk but I wonder if squatting would be an almost vulnerable position? He does awkwardly bend (due to low light) in the doorway too. I really think he may have injured himself in the dark.

Agree because they never move.

So why so much to hide appearance? And did he ever take bite lite out inside? Is there something very recognizable about this face?

How can we interpret body language more on this perp?

We’ve mentioned the following regarding not bending down, keeping straight leg.

  • Protecting backpack from falling
  • Bad knee
  • Golfer
  • Gun in way
  • Tall and don’t like to bend
  • Landscaper who is tired of bending down at end of day.
  • Dancer- although really I discount this personally.
BBM LOL reminds me of portly ,elderly Italian ladies who wore CORSETS and they couldn't bend over because the bones ( stays) in the corsets would poke them . Hahaha MOO and my experience from attending 100s of multugenerational weddings. Also, anyone remember brasalettes..? 1960s-1970s underwear gear for a formal occasion like a prom? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 to thighs..you couldnt bend! JMO! Hope you laughed.

Yea, it's a good point that squatting down would feel a bit more vulnerable, since it takes more time to get up (we have a caveman brain after all). I wanna add that I generally don't see many men squatting down to pick stuff up, it would almost feel "excessive"? I dont think his bend is anything other than an avrage man moving like an avrage man.

Is it ok to post an AI generated portrait that I based my own sketches of the lantana man from the Nest camera footage uploaded by the FBI? Are there any watermarks I should include to alert anyone who views it that it was AI generated?

I don’t think they are allowing AI altered images here I tried to find that mod message and couldn’t. You could always message one to confirm.

Putting on my Mod hat..
The No AI message is in the images threads. You can always ping a mod with your sketch and a reason why it would be beneficial to the case. We don't want a lot of "he/she might look like THIS" AI because he/she also might not look like that, if you see what I mean. It becomes too confusing. At the minimum, anything that might be allowed would have to state on it "AI generated from personal sketch" Bonus points for including your user name. 😁 But even then no guarantees.

What do people think about the mysterious light that appears in the doorbell video? Is it proof of two perps? It certainly seems to be another person that appears on video.

I'm unsure about what is being interpreted as an additional light. The bit to the right side in the video? My first thought on that was a reflection. Like off of something on the wall. Is there another light I'm missing?

It drops in on the left and looks like the tip of a light saber almost but I guess it's a flashlight? I can't see it could be a reflection. It's a very bright light. I don't know if this helps. I know people can see different things in a video.

Thank you, that is my right, but the suspects left. I think of the reflectors on the backpack. Those are very bright. So my first thought was a reflective something on the wall or near the wall. You can see at one point what might look like movement is just seeing the bright through a piece of foliage. But then on several viewings, I suspect that is the backpack reflector and the suspect changed their position. I will get on my computer later and see if what I thought I saw can be captured.

Note to self. At .07 looks like a shoulder drop.

Oh that HOLSTER. I do not think that placement was accidental. I feel like i am being "flashed" every time I look at it. Maybe the perp has exhibitionist tendencies? jmo

I think we didn't see him bend "normally' or squat because he had things in his front pockets. Fill your front pockets and try to squat or bend over!

I believe that is part of the plant that was already stuck in behind the door cam.

I think the plant was used to get the cam off, the stem was used to release it. Other posters have posted in the main thread about the special tool to release the cam, but I believe something like the plant stem could do the same.

You can see in this still shot, the plant is just stuck there, his hand is to the left of that and he is no longer hanging on to it. I think what people see as a "light" is just the stem of the plant stuck in. The night vision makes it look like a light, but it is not. Ever see a bug at night on a night cam? they look like little lights flying around.

All JMO

I think that’s a great point. And if by chance he had some type of padded briefs on, even more so.

Try squatting with a mismatched gun in an oversized wrong shaped holster hanging off the front of your pants. 95% chance you'll knock the gun out or force the snap holding it to whatever it's held to open. (It's one reason why I don't do cheap holsters) Bending like he did, the tip of the holster would swing out staying mostly vertical and not get bumped by anything. Between that at the full pockets, I don't wonder there was a strange walk and bend, imo.

Anyone besides me randomly wonder if a taser was in one of the pockets? Not for any reason, I just wonder.

Imagine that Nancy was tasered and then carried out…would tasering affect the bleeding in anyway compared to non-tasering?

Would tasering from behind (for example) cause a nosebleed, if she fell forward?

This is theoretical. There is no communication (official or leaked) to indicate a taser was used or present.

2 things. The whites of your eyes are the whites of your eyes. Can we infer from the photo below that light things become darker and dark things become lighter due to infa-red? Secondly, could that be a taser in the perp's pocket? Jmo
