Suspicious behavior of Haleigh Cummings father

That's very interesting, Bessie...

What if, instead of a bloody accidental shooting, it was a quiet, accidental overdose? - Which of course has been theorized before.

Yep. I lean toward the accidental OD, myself.

I think if Ron thought someone took Haleigh "to teach him a lesson", Ron would be going insane with rage and revenge.

Ron would want to teach them a lesson, for trying to teach him a lesson.
(I hope that makes sense).

Ron would be furious to think someone else has gained the upper-hand, and abducted his daughter, his 'possession', and Ron would stop at nothing to get Haleigh back- if someone else had actually taken his daughter.

smart blonde, your post makes perfect sense. What we know of Ron from watching him this past year, you're right - he would be out for revenge. But, it's easy to see, he is quite passive about her disappearance. The only time he brings the focus around to her is when he wants to take the heat of himself.
However, now he can't escape the charges looming over him. He's been caught in the act. I think that's why we are hearing less from his doting Mother and the tapes of Ron in jail are few and far between. jmp

If Haleigh had been accidentally shot in or around that MH, there would be blood somewhere and blood cannot be completely cleaned up. I believe that would be one of the first things cops would be looking for in a situation of a missing person. They would have looked inside and outside for blood evidence. Thinking of the search that lasted several days... does anyone actually believe they wouldn't have found evidence of a gunshot wound? Unless it happened somewhere else, and while that's possible, I don't think it's very probable considering that someone, a neighbor or a family member would have heard the gunshot and reported it. I simply don't believe that everyone outside of Ron's immediate family would protect him for this long. Certainly not Misty's family.
JMO, of course.

TxLady I think you are right on about the evidence surrounding a gunshot wound. Besides, if you've ever had a gun fired inside a home, the smell of the gun being fired hangs around for awhile. Nope, there was not a gun fired in that motor home that night. jmo

Your post got me wondering if the back door was bricked open to increase ventilation to get rid of tell tale smells. Vomit, stinky blankets?

Since that is the only cause of death theory that LE has come right out and slapped down, it does make you wonder...

That was the same day that Teresa made her grand re-appearance on NG, correct?

It could have been accidental OD, but when LE followed those leads ... dead end. Last I heard, LE was trying to reconstruct the 3-day-bender. They suspect foul play. They've got to get a confession from someone. If not the Satsuma-6, then they have to squeeze some one else to find out what happened. In these kind of communities, people are loathe to talk to LE. :twocents:

BBM..ITA.. But that doesn't mean a gun wasn't purposely fired or accidentally went off somewhere else...JMO

I've never heard LE was reconstructing the 3-day-bender, as you put it.

I have heard that they are trying to reconstruct the 3 days prior to the phone call (reporting Haleigh missing), for everyone who came into contact with Haleigh those 3 days.

I totally agree with you, SB. It is perplexing how close knit these crazy people are, covering up this crime. I do think that if RC did it himself, MC would have sung a long time ago.

I think it's someone that has local power, like a Tony Soprano type. MC admitted she was afraid to talk (to her friend when she left RC).

The thing is, how did they get in the house? That's what they're not admitting too. :twocents:

iirc, there were only 3 keys to that m/h - Ron, Teresa, and Annette. [I have no idea how I recall that.]

I don't think they would "waste" one or more of their stash on Haleigh to be honest, not the way they were counting up pills and worrying about being cheated , on the video. The pills represented both money and relief to them and i think they would be safely stashed away to prevent theft from the in and out traffic at the MH. Of course accidents happen, in which case they would have to explain what she took and how...but i can't see them leaving their "good" stuff around, too many potential thieves in their midst. The gunshot thing is a worry too as far as blood evidence or lack thereof. If there was truly no physical evidence in the MH I tend to lean toward a beating or a push that ended with a bump on the head...something like that...

Is that a fact? There was a lot of speculation about the keys back when Ronald said he had changed the locks because he doesn't want anyone to have keys to his home but I don't recall that we ever heard anything about who had spare keys.

As paranoid as Ron seemed to be about checking the backdoor was locked everyday, I find it hard to believe that he'd want Misty to be without a key, meaning that she'd have to leave the front door unlocked if she went anywhere with the kids during the day and wanted to get back in.

Please correct me if I'm wrong or missing another possible angle here but in order for your theory (above) to have occurred, Ronald would have had to take the gun over to 116 Tyler St. to hide it after he arrived home from work, was told that HaLeigh was missing and couldn't be found and they would have to call the police to report her missing or would have had to have someone else (Tommy ?) come and get the gun to take it and hide it before 911 was called. I don't buy it - something just doesn't add up. :waitasec:

MOO~

BBM: I've thought about that scenario as well. Maybe Ron called Tommy to go over and get any pills/drugs and guns and take them from the MH while Misty was out with the other members of Ron's family disposing of Haleigh, or maybe Misty was there cleaning up while other members of Ron's family were disposing of Haleigh. All of them had to prepare for the most important 911 call?

I'm thinking that with the two of them (Ron and Misty) having such a dramatic weekend (fighting, boozing, drugging, sexing) that they both probably felt like death warmed over on that Monday evening. Not much has been stated about what Ron was up to the weekend that Misty was out on her own partying. There is a statement that Ron was calling Misty during this time. I'm willing to bet that he was looking for her. We also don't know if he was scheduled to work during the weekend either. With large contracts to meet Fabrication shops usually work throught the weekends too. GGMS did say that she was angry with Misty for leaving Ron without a babysitter and stated that Misty showed up prior to Ron having to go to work. I bet those two "lovebirds" were pretty exhausted (Misty and Teresa made statements about Misty being exceptionally exhausted) Teresa also made a statement that Ron and Misty were up all night long on Sunday night "talking", and this was suppose to be "after" the big fight and the partying all weekend. I will say that neither of these two were in the mood for two needy toddlers. Obviously the fight was still going on, hence, the multitude of calls Ron made and Misty susposedly shutting her phone off. It has been reported by Ron's co-worker that Misty had called in the past complaining that she could not get Haleigh to go to bed. I think it is very probable that Haleigh was given a drug to make her sleepy and more easy to put to bed. Reportedly, Misty and Ron were arguing up to around 8:30 pm. I bet with everything going on, Haleigh most likely refused to go to bed. Ron probably instructed Misty to give her something. Misty was probably whinning that she didn't want to babysit to begin with. Either Ron left work and forced Haleigh to take a pill or maybe mortally injured her, then returned to work. Maybe Haleigh was injured earlier in the evening and GGMS came over with the nurse because Haleigh was gravely injured. Ron was sent back to work by GGMS or TN. Haleigh died. The coverup began.

Who is the nurse?

Who is the nurse?

Someone help me here. Is it Ron's cousin or Aunt Elisa (?) who was with GGMS when she supposedly dropped by to deliver clean clothes? She was with GGMS, anyway. She is also reportedly a nurse.

And the smell of pot, maybe. Tommy and Misty were supposedly smoking pot while they watched the children play. Such role models...........

Doobie, I don't know for sure which house the gun was at. In my view what's significant is that it seems to have been retrieved and not found.

While I agree that protecting Joe is not anything RC would do, if the fight didn't go as planned for Mr Cummings, IMO denying it occurred is EXACTLY what he would do. I feel that there is reason to consider that a fight did occur and it may not have had the planned outcome.

Something put these marks on his head.

Yeah, I agree. Always thought that the bandage on his neck was covering something besides a boil too.

I think it would depend on their supply at the time. If it was ample, it might've been worth it to give one to Haleigh if she were acting up. I'm just not sure Ron would give the go ahead on that, though. And while they might not leave pills lying around in the open, Haleigh might've known their hiding places. Unfortunately, I've known prescription drug addicts and have been in their houses. They get sloppy with their pills when they're using. I think an accidental overdose is quite possible in this situation. JMO

I couldn't tell you, LT. I relied on a former member's transcription of the vid [dunno if LVA, LDT, or hypnosis].

I do know from public records that Ron's uncle Donald is married to an Elisa, and I thought she was a CNA, but she doesn't show up on a www.myflorida.com licensee search as anything but a R/E salesperson.

(btw - t/y, whips)
