Suspicious Odour clears out Target

[font=geneva,arial,sans-serif]A strong bathroom deodorizer was apparently to blame for the evacuation Friday of the Target store in Walnut Creek after some shoppers complained of an odd and suspicious odor coming from near the men's room, authorities said. [/font]

[font=geneva,arial,sans-serif]As firefighters checked the building on North Main Street shortly after noon and paramedics tended to customers, a hazardous materials team used sensors to locate the origin of the odor and traced it to the area around an escalator in the store, said Battalion Chief Kevin McCarthy of the Contra Costa County Fire Department. We had a similar incident here at work. I work at a chemical research facility and one of our buildings was evacuated due to a "plug in" air freshener. Highly embarrasing.
