Hello all!!! Been MIA for some time now....busy with life!!!

Stop in and read from time to time, but now just getting back into the case.

Anyone can give me an update of where things are?

I know that BD's case did not make it to the Supreme Court and that is about the time I stopped coming on WS. Haven't really followed since then, so an update would be great!!

Miss everyone on here!!

I am not a lawyer, but according to this post on another website the case will go back to the Court of Appeals:

Court of Appeal: Next steps... : TickTockManitowoc

Far from giving any signs of quitting, Zellner appears to be determined to fight the case as far as it can be fought.

It was news to me to learn in MaM2 how Sutkiewicz was handling a civil suit against Steven Avery by the Halbach family at the same time she was considering some legal filing he did from prison while he was representing himself. Did I hear it correctly that when the Halbachs decided to drop their suit Sutkiewicz didn't allow them to do so?

That's what I remember too proudfootz, but I didn't know that either. And in the question/answer thing that KZ did yesterday, she had a comment about the Halbach's dropping that suit and finding it odd (can't remember her exact wording)
