Syringe in bottle and traces of chloroform #2

There were no benzos found in Caylee's hair. Those where the test samples.

ITA though about the over-kill.. very odd for someone like Casey. Lazy, no follow through, fly by the seat of her pants.. can't sneak, lie, steal or even sign a bad check "properly". Claiming to be a virgin at 7 months pregnant, was held up with a gun to her head at her 2nd job.. the only people foolish enough to fall for any of her games were her "family" (and we know now that they were not even fooled they just chose to shut up to keep the peace in the house.)

I dunno, I just do not see the same person many here see. The chick is hardly a mastermind. imo.

ITA...She was motivated by whatever was convenient at the time. I think that her friends talked about chloroform more than we realize so far. There is a hint of that when we saw that there was a "joke" regarding chloroform and dating going around on MySpace...

I don't think this means anything unless there is fingerprints or Caylees blood or some dna linked with this. I don't think this is any kind of a bombshell. I need to see a lot more.

You have me on units :slap: , but hopefully you get my drift.:blowkiss:

The needle should have been nearly empty after the steroid user was done. Then it was filled with something caustic. The ratio of caustic to steroid should be really high, but it is not. It is nearly equal.
Volume is not expressed in "units"... it's expressed in cc/ml/L.....let's not confuse the masses. :)

I don't understand this whole thing. If she used the needle on Caylee why wasn't it empty? She gives Caylee all of these chemicals and then refills the needle and then sticks the needle back in the bottle? I'm wondering what was Casey doing with testosterone, that can be traced, so can the needle, so IMO she had help and somebody besides Casey is lying.

When Casey stayed with Amy on the 30'th of June until Tony came back from NY. Trash was missing from the appartment where Ricardo and Amy were staying.. There was one other guy there, I can't think just now who it was..
From the text messages, Casey woke Amy up at 9.30am, on the morning of June 30 and asked her to let her in, Casey slept there until the day of the 5th of July. In the text messages Ricardo phoned Amy on the morning of the 3rd of July and asked her to take out the trash. She said she had already gone to but it was empty.. There were 4 people staying there that week, surely the trash would not have been empty..Who removed it? I believe it was Casey.
I am sure that Casey took that trash to help disguise the smell in the trunk. That bottle with the syringe could have been in it. I am convinced that Casey killed Caylee, but the defense might make out that syringe was used by someone else.

Why not just give her benadryl or cough medicine or OD'ing Caylee on her own antibiotic? Or 1 single dose of the ever present Benzo's associated with players in this case? Or stab her or run her over with the car? Or drown her in the tub or pool.. or a million other less complicated methods of death? It just makes no sense to me, a person like Casey using this as a method of death.

My post isn't directed AT you, it's just my outrage of her thought process if she is indeed the person who killed her daughter with anything like this kind of method. The killing is bad enough but to do it in this manner is just so ODD! I mean, why not just smother her or choke her or...

I don't think you can kill a person with an OD of antibiotics, not very easily anyway.

I give my husband a shot of testosterone once a month. Male hormone replacement is pretty popular with male baby-boomers--like botox for baby-boomer women.

It never occurred to me to fold the needles. But, my husband's prescription is for 12 needles at a time. Actually I get 24 needles at a time, because I need a different (bigger) needle to draw the testosterone out of the vial than the one used for the shot. Anyway, since the needles come in packages as many as 24 needles possibly available at a time, KC would have access to fresh ones.

I'm pretty sure another poster figured out that this particular blend of testosterone is not available by prescription in the US, nor is anything that contains the exact same ingredients. I believe it's called "Sustanon."

I know this has probably been said many times and I shouldn't even say it now, but the more evidence that comes out, the more I can see this happening. I really think that KC drugged Caylee at the house that day and then put her in the pool and let her float for a bit. I then think she made the frantic calls to CA and GA that day trying to tell them that she drowned. She thought she had the perfect plan and that they would come running home and think it was a tragic accident. That's why the pool ladder was still there. When they didn't answer, I think the duct tape was used to make sure she couldn't breathe since KC had put her to sleep before and was worried that she would wake up.

When CA and GA didn't answer, I think she (as she seems to do quite often) lost her temper and of course didn't want to miss meeting her bf later, stopped calling and put poor Caylee in the trunk until she could figure out what to do with her later. I don't in any way believe that KC is intelligent enough to be considered a mastermind. I just think she put her in the car until she could come up with some other plan that might work. She left Caylee in the woods where she did because GA almost found her that day in the trunk and I also think so that she could go back and find her if needed.

I have known liars who actually give the impression that they believe their own lies. I think KC has been in jail thinking about her story for so long, that she might even believe it now. I think she had to make herself believe it so that she doesn't sit and think about the truth. I am not saying she is insane, she knew what she did was wrong. However, we do know she has no normal human emotions. As much as I detest the girl, I do have to say that I feel sorry for anyone who goes through life just living the motions and being who she thinks everyone wants her to be. How sad to never have feelings and emotions enough to develop into your own person even as a child. Shame on her for not letting poor Caylee be her own person.

I definitely see your point about KC's laziness. In some of the things she tried to get away with, it was such a ham-handed attempt, it would be obvious to anyone who cared to see.

However, I also think back to her faking e-mail headers to maintain the illusion that she had a job and was seen as important. That shows me that if something means enough to her, she does know how to take steps to avoid detection.

Thinking of her going to the trouble of blending a concoction and using a syringe to deliver it to Caylee does seem like a stretch for her, when there would undoubtably be easier methods.

Hopefully we will know more in the next document dump. <fingers crossed>

Perhaps we should move the conversation about the Crystal Light bottles contents to the thread that is about item Q241? That way all of this info will not get bogged down in discussion about the chloroform(or lack thereof) in the Gatorade bottle? Any thoughts?

Ooh, ooh, icky. Why did my mind go there?

Thank KC, it's that kind of case. When was the last time it entered your mind that someone would inject anything into their 2 year old....

Good point, she went a little over board there too, Geo saw it and CA refused to believe, gee where have we heard that before...

Okay, I passed the contents of the Crystal Lite bottle to two chemists (new ones, not the analytical guy who helped on the syringe results). One of these guys is a PhD chemist. The other has over 20 years in forensic chemistry working for what will remain an unnamed bureau of investigation.

Here's what they said...

First one:

Appears to be a cleaner....lots of solvents present. Is not a pesticide. I asked where the urine smell was coming from and he said the Trimethylamine. I asked about the dimethyl disulfide and he stated "that one is kind of odd" then went on to explain that this is the type of sulfide that is added to natural gas to make it "stink" so that you can sense when you have a gas leak. He also noted that there were several constituents that can be used as a propellant.

Second one (forensics dude):

The chemistry looks like an industrial cleaner disinfectant, you have some surfactants, solvents and strong disinfectants(phenol).

Just thought I'd share!

I read part 18, 19 and 20 yesterday and all I recall is the chloroform on the trunk liner.

Val, were these chemicals found on the trunk carpet or liner? If they were could you please give a page number for the info? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide...

And wasn't there also some mention made by CA to DC of this rumor in her emails back and forth to him? Amongst all the "disseminating hate toward the Anthony family" labels...(I'm thinking of printing that on a teeshirt)

LOL :rotfl: That's hilarious.

Harmony, Val is posting about the contents of the Crystal Lite bottle that was found in the garbage bag from the trunk of KC's car.

HTH!!

Gotta love a gal who has bunches of lab geeks and chem dudes in her social circle!

As to the above bolded info, could the cleaning solvent, or whatever this stuff is, have been used in George's sprayer that was taken into evidence??

Hi MC :). That's probably a good idea. Maybe alter the title a bit since we now know it's not urine? Just my :twocents:. Thanks for the thread btw.
