Tammy lived with her boyfriend in Oneida, New York in 1981. She was last seen hitchhiking about 7:45 am on May 8, 1981. Her boyfriend reported her missing 3 days later.
Investigators believe a group of young men gave Tammy a ride to the Oneida Indian Nation Territory. They believe she may have been gang-raped and murdered at a party there, but her body has never been found.
