Tammi and EJ met when Elizabeth went to Boston to visit her grandmother in June ?? Correct?
Im still not convinced this was accidental....
We should start by looking at Elizabeths contact while there....maybe check her granny's computer, phone, etc....

I'm still leaning in the direction that the airport incident never happened. I think TPS was trolling the net for babies and stumbled across the CL posting. TPS is very net savvy.

I believe that EJ placed her ad looking for a free nanny on Craigslist on Dec. 8th. I have the link but it's expired In the ad she stated that she has no family to help with her 7 month old son. I wonder if TPS was on Craigslist, maybe looking for her own nanny and came across her ad and had enough gall to call her and offer to help?

I think that's exactly right. On TS fb, back in April 09, someone asks her about needing an Au Pair, and TS was needing to start looking for a live-in nanny for H this year...she could have searched live-in nanny and come right across EJ's post.

I think you are on to something. If the Smiths just met EJ right before she gave them Gabriel, which I have always believed was the case, then I would guess she hooked up with them through the internet. I tend to think she hooked up with them right before she gave them Gabriel. I think that however she met the Smiths is the same way she met whoever took Gabriel from her in San Antonio. She may have been stalking adoption sites of some kind. When it didn't work out with the Smiths she went right back where she had been before and found someone else who was willing to take Gabriel even without LM's permission. I know when I was looking to adopt I didn't care about the fathers permission. I don't think it was in anyway legal. The adoptive parents probably figured that all they needed to do was get a new birth certificate for the baby and they were good to go. And as we have seen, getting false documents is fairly easy on the internet. I don't think that the Smiths were in the loop as far as San Antonio goes. They had no intention of helping EJ find any other parents for Gabriel other then themselves.

I've wondered if it was possible that the Smiths could be involved in stashing Gabriel somewhere, in the hope that when things died down, they could get him "back." I can't see TS giving up something she wants without a big fight.

I was making a FB timeline around the time that EJ and TS were supposed to have met at the airport -- I have that covered

On December 3 she posted in reply to a friend that they were adopting a Down Syndrome baby who had not been born yet, but he was due any day and they were going to pick him up from the hospital; Jack had already named him JD

Hmm, I forgot about the Down Syndrome baby. Which leaves me yet ANOTHER question about TPS to ask. If on Dec 3 the baby was to be born any day and they were going to pick him up at the hospital, they why on God's Green Earth would TPS and JS get themselves so publically involved in Gabriel's case in the media? Shouldn't they be at home taking care of this baby they were supposedly adopting? Did LE find a Down Syndrome baby at the house when they arrested TPS? Or could TPS just have been setting the scene on facebook that she was going to have a baby in the house, and that she had an excuse for not posting photos by claiming it was a Down baby who couldn't handle the flash from a camera? And then posting pics of Gabriel on her fb and claiming it was her new addition? :banghead: Can TPS ever get at least ONE story straight?

I don't recall which one, but I think it was in the midwest?

But the point is, two different airports mentioned makes it sound like a lie.

Also, one time JS was with her, another she said she was alone. One time it was just EJ and Gabriel and another time we heard or saw the grandfather was allegedly with her and Gabriel.

When the stories change that drastically, it makes it seem as if NOT true.

PS............this is the same sort of stuff that has happened in other cases I've observed here on WS that to this day are not solved............different versions of the ALLEGED same incident, thus confusing and no one knows what to believe. ala............Holloway case, Cummings case, even the Anthony case is like that.......fran

Somehow I think Tammi is more careful than to get caught by saying an airport in lieu of meeting each other at a mommy day out or the a park or zoo....

To meet in an airport in another state sounds like that could easily verified by flight logs and maybe it was a planned meeting instead....If they met as Elizabeth was returning home from Boston then EJ could have arranged it while at the grandmother's home....

Then after the airport meeting EJ could have was dragging her feet back and forth about what to do with Gabriel and then calls the Smith sometime in November and arranged Dec 9th...and the fight on the 8th could have been set up by Elizabeth

Just a working theory as to when and how they might met....sure wish we could verify that meeting thou....

agreed! I think it was an internet connection. I doubt EJ would have kept TPS phone number from the time Gabriel was 1 month old all the way until he was 8 months old. Yet another tangled web!:furious:

IMHO, I'm not sure that EJ kept TPS's number. I suspect when phone records are checked, that we will find that TPS had kept in touch with EJ to keep that adoption idea in her head until the right time.

I personally don't believe TPS when she says that EJ called her out of the blue to ask if they still wanted to adopt Gabriel. In at least one interview, I believe TPS said that phone call came on Dec 8, yet I believe TPS had Gabriel the end of Nov.

Am I missing something or misunderstanding something here??? :banghead:

Per LE reports and charging doc, Eliz gave Gabe to Tammi on Dec 9.

I also feel they met online and think that possibly it was through Tammi replying to Elizabeth's ad.

At one point Tammi stated that she was trying to offer free babysitting to Elizabeth.
I think she replied to Elizabeth's ad offering free babysitting and then went from there. ...asking to adopt (buy) gabriel.

Artsy, as the story goes, TS said the biomom of the DS baby started asking for money, so TS backed out --another FB posting? I don't remember the source -- may have been deleted, but regardless it was just another TS story and you may have something there with your theory

A handy tip - if you want to know if someone has quoted you to respond to one of your posts, you can use the Forum Search tool for Gabe's forum, and put your name in as a keyword (not in the user name). All the posts where someone quoted you or just put your name to ask you a question etc will pop right up.

Not as good as an alert, but it helps so you don't miss questions people may ask you.

This fits nicely in with something else that's bothered me for a long time. When TPS had the interview with EJ over the phone, EJ was saying something about how she randomly met this couple, and TPS kind of jumped in and started talking about the airport and how they met back in June. I always kind of had a weird feeling about that, like TPS was worried EJ was going to say something else and had to steer the conversation another direction. I'm going back to find the link for this so I can re-read it.

Well maybe they did initially meet at the airport, but it just seems strange that there would be no contact at all until Dec 8 and bam! Tammi and Jack drop everything to take Gabe with no notice.

And it's especially odd that they kept saying November in those early interviews. Why were they saying November? Surely they remembered that it was the 2nd week in December they got Gabe.

I can't remember it ever being said how the argument on Dec 8 got started.

I also find it strange that we are finding tons of traces online of TPS searching for babies to adopt, and yet, we see no mention on her MS or FB or anywhere about her having met EJ in June. I know that doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen. But IMO, TPS has a BIG mouth and can't help opening it, she was openly looking for a child, and she has made a huge point in her interviews of saying that when she met EJ at the airport, she was holding the baby down low, and she "just knew" that EJ didn't want to be a mother, and blah blah blah. This doesn't add up for me. JMO
