Ted has got some major problems/issues and needs to come to terms with who HE really is. That man is a nutjob, not Gary.

GB plays dumb but is a very smart man I believe. He brings a rare bit of humor to all he does. Would have enjoyed him and would have loved to smack those ladies upside the head too Melanie..

I'd like to see the stuff on the editing room floor!

But really, I was surprised at how unoffensive they all were-- I happen to adore GB (and abhor TH), but my reactions to the show didn't really sway my mood pendulum as much as I thought it would.

I think the most interesting dynamic on the show was with Haggard's eldest daughter! How weird and stunted she is, emotionally. She needs some serious time away from that household, church, town, environment. If I were her, I'd move all the way across the country and start a life as a big girl. moo

I believe he is gay, but is staying in the closet, did not know that they have a retarded son, and maybe that is why they are staying together, the oldest daughter is very pretty.
