In my experience , unless the bartender was 100 percent shady, he wouldnt have talked them into selling him something to go. Its a 2k fine for the first offense and loss of liquor license for 30 days upon conviction.

Now JLM deciding to sneak them out on his own? It happens.

He was seen bumming cigarettes and smoking earlier, and I seem to recall a poster stating that drinks were allowed outside in the smoking area. If that's the case, it wouldn't be odd for anyone to see JM taking drinks outside.

The actual statement from Tempo does NOT say what he did when he came into the place with Hannah waiting outside. Just says he came in there. it's other statements that say he bought something, bought beers, etc. Doubt Tempo would make an official statement that is not true, but they do not specify what happened when he came in that second time and was in there for 15 minutes. Maybe he settled his tab from earlier, used the bathroom, or possibly talked the person into selling him two beers to go.

Have you watched the interview with the owner? He and the girl on the door both saw Hannah outside. Both deny she came into the restaurant . JM didn't run a tab. He paid for each of his drinks using credit card. His last purchase was two beers.

I feel the same way. WG's actions, and the close-but-not-quite-accurate telling of what happened as he was following Hannah.... all very strange, imo.

Does anyone know if WG was specifically, formerly cleared by LE in any press releases? I dont remember that.

I don't think it's a good idea for LE to hit anyone who is giving up info on the case right now, or it will cause clamming up in epic proportions. It's not all that important. They can deal with it later. One has to make some decisions on things like that.

And for that matter Hannah's friends and classmates served her alchohol to the point where she was "extremely intoxicated" as all of the reports about her earlier activities report and they also just let her leave in the dark that way. But right now is not the time to shut down information.

She sees JLM, remembers him from before, and also sees him walking with a young lady who is obviously trashed.

Wouldnt it be natural to assume she was of age? Especially when shes clearly drunk and walking with an older male who had been in an hour before?

I dont think she was carded at all.

I think this restaurant is fighting desperately to avoid losing their liquor license and going out of business.

She sees JLM, remembers him from before, and also sees him walking with a young lady who is obviously trashed.

Wouldnt it be natural to assume she was of age? Especially when shes walking with an older male who had been in before?

I dont think she was carded at all and this restaurant is fighting desperately to the only think thats keeping their business afloat.

Yep, it happens all the time- easy with beer at closing time, and with the shirt worn on the outside. But if the employee, "Abby" was right about the time she saw them leave at 1:45, where does the extra time go if he paid for the drinks at 1:10am?

Maybe he suggested to her she sit down on one of the chairs in front of the restaurant. Previous threads have a pic of the two green chairs. A way to try to keep her close?

It's possible JLM had some other mind-altering substance(s) on him — Hannah went from walking at an energetic pace to barely being able to stand / walk without support within 30 min. or so. Doubtful that one more beer would have had that much effect.

Now that would make sense.

Anyone know if Hannah had access to the smoking area from outside the restaurant?

If so JLM could have easily handed her a beer over the railing. If there had been other drunk patrons out there they may have laughed at the whole thing without saying a word to anyone.

Remember, inhibitions are down with alcohol consumption.

I'm anxious to know that too. I would have bet my paycheck that Chief Longo was asked about that and he answered that the guy was "undercover" ( I thought that meant Mall security in street clothes) but I have searched everywhere and cannot find that conversation ..... I don't know if I imagined it or misheard. Otherwise I do remember him being mentioned in the first presser, and then some time after they said he had come to the station and described the events on the mall - but not since

There was a woman who did see Hannah, described her and JM around Tempo very thorouhgly. "Abby" was the name given. Did say Hannah did not go inside, waited outside, appeared inebriated. Don't know if she said anything about what he did inside. But she did see Hannah. Others there or around Tempo also saw Hannah and JM clearly with her. I did read something about her coming into the restaurant but it was not an official interview, no one identified and it was not MSM, if I remember correctly.

The important thing about all of this is that JM is placed with Hannah at around a certain time, and that is the last anyone reports seeing her. The rest are just details.

When you open a tab, does your final receipt show the time the tab was opened or the time the tab was closed?

yes I posted a video interview with the owner of the restaurant who said he was on the door, checking id aswell with abby and saw JM

no journalists or middlemen to twist it

If that Coy Barefoot article is legit then she wouldn't have been carded bc she never tried to get in..she just waited outside for JLM to do his business and come back according to the people he interviewed..

I didnt say overlook.

Its late, standards fall, and its easy to assume shes of age if she is already drunk and with an older male.

TBH Im sure Ive served someone underage or allowed them inside for the same reasons at some point in the past 25 years.

Were all only human after all and door people dont card every person who walks in the door to start with.Some of it is left to their discretion. I mean imagine doing that to a 60 year old man and how awkward that could be if he doesnt find it funny, for example.
