The 69-year-old woman led a nomadic life. Teresa has lived in the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Portugal and Switzerland, among other places. She often rented temporary accommodation there. In the Netherlands, she has also lived in Montfort, Herkenbosch and Venlo in Limburg, and Holthees in Brabant.

Description
She was born in Poland, where her mother still lives. Teresa Krug – she also uses the alias Anna Kulpa – is petite, approximately 160 centimetres tall and has a distinctive birthmark on the left side of her lower lip. She has grey/green eyes and visible bags under her eyes. Teresa is visually impaired due to an accident. She speaks Polish and German.

Investigation
Her disappearance came to light during the investigation into the violent death of a 66-year-old man on 15 September 2025 in Herkenbosch. This case has previously been featured on politie.nl and in programmes such as Opsporing Verzocht. On Monday, 15 September, at around 8:00 a.m., the 66-year-old victim was killed in the garden of his home on Van der Landelaan in Herkenbosch. On Thursday, 25 September, a suspect was arrested in Montfort in a house on Kerkstraat. The suspect is a 49-year-old man from Germany. A grey BMW with Swiss number plates was seized. Teresa is the mother of the arrested suspect. She rented the house on Kerkstraat in Montfort where the suspect was arrested.

Witness
The investigation team would like to hear Teresa as a witness in the investigation and has tried in various ways to trace her. However, there is no trace of the woman.

Mysterie rond spoorloze moeder van moordverdachte Herkenbosch, mogelijk begraven in bos

[...] The police are now seriously concerned about the woman and wonder 'whether she is still alive', states the police report. ’We are taking into account that Teresa may have been killed in a crime.' The police want to get in touch with people who have seen Teresa between January 2025 and now, or who have had contact with her, who know where she is staying or have any idea what happened to her.

In addition, the police are also appealing to the public to report any “disturbances in the ground” they may have seen this year in the woods around Montfort and Herkenbosch. ‘If anyone has seen such a place, or knows of such a place, please call us immediately.’

During the investigation into the death of Paul Vossen, a bag containing clothing and other items was found in Herkenbosch on 23 September. The bag was buried in a forest near Keulsebaan and Melickervenweg, about 90 metres from the car park. The police do not know whether this bag of clothing and items is related to the fatal violent incident. ‘However, we are taking into account that these items may be related to crime in some other way.’ The police would like more information about this clothing and these items. The items in question are black and red shoes, a charger, a pair of stained jeans, black glasses, black socks and a hoodie with a triangle on the front.
