Was the FBI agent the only one in the apt. with Ibrahim? Were the State Police outside the apt. door perhaps guarding the door? If all the people reportedly at the apt. were inside the apt. at the time Ibrahim attacked the FBI agent, that certainly was one fast acting agent! But why would the officers have not responded faster as they weren't the ones being attacked? It seems they would have been able to draw weapons and shoot much quicker? Or even run to Ibrahim to distract him or get him away from the agent.

Why was Boston police at the scene?? I thought forensic from the triple murder confirmed that both brothers were at victims house ?

The connection is that, both have extremely similar trajectories.

Both were amateur boxers, uh, immigrants from that part of the world, who apparently became radicalized very quickly, and then went off to that part of the world to Dagestan to pursue that.

William Plotnikov was actually detained by the Russian security forces in early 2011, during questioning with the Russian FSB security agency, he reportedly named Tsarnaev as one of his online contacts.

Plotnikov went to Dagestan for the second time in late 2011, and joined the, the rebels

he was killed because he was, uh, living in the mountains, uh, with a group of, uh, fighters, who were part of this north caucus’ movement that’s trying to impose this Islamist regime in southern Russia, and they’ve been doing various,uh, attacks on, especially on Russian forces.(neat angle why Russians gave us a heads up , supposedly!)

They were talking about jihad, and about killing non-believers

Tamerlan Tsarnaev went to Dagestan in, uh, January 2012 and was there until July, and actually left, uh, returned to the United States just a few days after William Plotnikov was killed

Nice find. I hadn't seen her name, before. Apparently, she changed her name back in 2007 (first & last, kept middle) but I'm guessing that was before they met.

the Tsarnaevs either dumped their hostage at a Cambridge gas station, or allowed him to escape, perhaps in the confusion after Dzhokhar was caught trying to shoplift junk food from the gas station’s convenience store.

Very interesting: Raw interview by phone with reporter and separated wife of Ibragim Todashev, Reniya A. Manukyan. She confirms that he visited Boston in 2011. They have been separated since Nov. 2012, but she talked to him recently.

So Todashev was another person here on asylum status yet made visits back to his homeland. I hope the new law passed this week takes place immediately so these refugees have to decide which country they want to live in and once they leave the USA they are gone!

Did Todashev speak and understand English well? Wondering if after admitting to the murder and ready to sign the confession, he suddenly realized what he had just done? At that point, he freaked out. From prior reports, he had a temper and was hot-headed. Being in the kitchen it was a convenient place to obtain a knife!

I am not buying the drug ripoff side of the story yet. Especially with 5K cash still remaining in the apartment. What we do have, is two dead suspects who will not be independently interviewed. CNN were reporting not only a few weeks ago that DT/TT were solely responsible for the triple murder now we have another suspect confessing to their direct involvement & is dead, that's why I read what's reported with a large grain of salt. IMO

No, the date of the murders was Sept 11, 2011. Bodies were discovered on Sept 12, but murders took place on Sept 11.
