Local here telling stories of being pulled from houses. Each person in homes being laid on ground, questioned by officers

Police on the scene have stressed from the very beginning that they fear suspect has access to phone-triggered IEDs

LIVE MSNBC* Neighbor to the shootout (with bullet holes in his house!)
has just described two individuals encountered by police engaged in a
massive shootout in Watertown. Gun battle which includes two persons
throwing hand grenades and a large "pressure cooker type explosive" at
police continued for 10 minutes. One suspect was shot by police. He is still
on the ground with explosives team nearby going through a car looking for
bombs. Second suspect got away in an SUV and broke through police lines
and a chase commenced - nobody has info on the status of that. FBI and
ATF are on site. Whole situation still fluid with no official word from
authorities but 1st suspect who was shot in still flat on the pavement
being held at gunpoint while bomb disposal people going through one of
suspects cars .... nobody knows what has happened to the suspect who
broke through police lines but he was chased by authorities -

The live witness is continuing to describe events via Skype...

These cops just got into a shootout.
They appear to be in ANOTHER shootout now.
At least one cop was killed.

I find it HARD to believe that in the last hour through those shootouts...
These LE have also identified the suspect and determined 100% that it's the marathon suspect.
It's possible, I just find it hard to believe.

They released the guy on the ground. Only the suspect at the hospital (or dead) remains.

There were two separate incidents. One at the MIT campus where an
officer was shot and killed.

Minutes later a second incident in Watertown involving two individuals,
hand grenades and a bomb being thrown, one suspect shot and being held
on the pavement, second suspect got away crashing through police lines
in an SUV and was chased ...

Nobody has connected the 1st and 2nd in incidents yet. A press conference is being scheduled ...

They believed that the cop killers carjacked the vehicle and got in the shootout with them.
The cops made it very clear they thought it was connected.

I don't think the guys tonight are either suspects. Nothing has been confirmed

Fox is reporting that the FBI is telling them that the suspect in custody is NOT related to the marathon bombing.
