Personally, I think we have some garden variety terrorists without a message-just drones. Just heavy lifters. Some kind of tiny sleeper cell who hooked in some dead end kids.

I would be hard pressed to believe that they put together this bombing and strategy themselves. The timing was perfect for maximum carnage, but the execution was poor. And I am not minimizing the casualties-not at all. As you can tell, I am deeply wounded and outraged by this incredible act of cowardice.

For lack of a better characterization, they were losers. It probably wasnt too hard to convince them.

People are surprised these guys had a beef with America. They hate Russia. Someone asked yesterday what flag the one bomb was placed near. Any idea if it was near the Russian flag?

Chechnyan (don't think that is spelled right) terrorists have ties to Taliban and Al Qaeda groups in Afghanistan and Pakistan and some have trained and fought in those countries. I suspect these brothers may have been "remote" radicalized similar to the British natives involved with the London subway bombing. All speculation on my part.
