I heard the interview and he did not say he was sure it was the guy he knew from high school. He said it looked like the guy but he wasn't sure. Very articulate and sincere guy on the interview.

In that case, still should have called it in to LE/FBI. I doubt he can be charged for it, though.

I am devastated after hearing that interview with the uncle, and hearing his wife cry. Can you imagine? Unbelievable, how these two have affected so many, so deeply.

Russia has had problems with them in the past. This group has a history of going after kids. Went into a school in Russia and killed the kids.

There is a long history of oppression and atrocities on both sides of the Russian-Chechan conflict. Chechan terrorists were responsible for the horrific Beslan massacre where they took a school full of children hostage and killed more than 300 people, mostly children. To say the least, there's a lot of expertise in bomb-making and other terrorist activities in Chechnya, to the point where they may be hiring out as mercenaries for other groups.
