I have the Logan twitter feed up and the airline's flight stats website, and so far the airport is open and the flights are still as scheduled. I am 99.99% sure that the AP security is sufficiently tight today. I'm more worried that there will be a logjam of people camped out there, scared, stuck, ... . not good.

Ami, have your teen talk to the airline agents at the layover. I am positive they will work with her to perhaps change to a later flight, with no charge, etc. maybe even put her up in a hotel.

Upthread it sounded like there may be another suspect but I can't get anyone to confirm that.

He could have broken into an empty house/building, or be in a house holding the occupants hostage. Remember how Dorner was able to hole up in Big Bear when there were cops searching all over the place - and there are a lot more places to hide in an urban area like Boston.

BBM......lets please be careful with perpetuating PROBABLE false information. It is highly doubtful that a 19 year old who was in prep school just recently, according to a counselor at the school, has suddenly in a one year period finished four years of college and progressed to his second year of medical school!!!!!
