FBI interviewed TT last year 2011 at request of a foreign govt due to suspicion that TT had ties to extremist group. Confirmed (CNN live). No information was found, and investigation concluded (at that time).

I do hope the investigation does not "end neatly" when the 19 year old is killed. Someone was encouraging those two and chances are quite likely that someone is still living in the US!

US authorities are investigating if the Boston Marathon bombing suspect killed in a shootout was a follower of controversial Australian Muslim cleric Sheik Feiz Mohammed.

A YouTube page with the user name Tamerlan Tsarnaev features religious videos, including one by the Sydney-born sheik titled And They Say, It's Only Sunnah, and a clip where the sheik deplores storybook boy wizard, Harry Potter, and complains that cartoons on TV "glorify nudity".

This is happening right in Franklin St. area of Watertown; LE awaiting arrival of swat and bomb teams (who are arriving, now); residents were told immediately to take shelter (again).

Living on the west coast how close are they now to where last nights shootout was?

If that's a threat, I don't think he'll get too far. Hopefully it is just his grief talking. He does deserve to know that their involvement was legit, not a set up...can't blame him for denial, at this point...
