And I read that she was the one with a job, while he stayed home to babysit.

Lol, I'm pretty sure it's just called parenting when it's your own child! I can't imagine anyone saying that I stay home and baby sit:floorlaugh:

The helo had heat imaging. That's how it was verified that there was "someone" in that boat and that the someone was still alive - heat sensors. If he would have had any kind of device strapped to him - that would have shown up in the heat imaging.

JMHO

Yes, great heat imaging... and also a good thing that all of those trees had not leafed out yet so they could get some good visuals.

Legal/Opinion..

OJ is LEGALLY innocent.
Casey is LEGALLY innocent.

Common word here is LEGALLY!

We (as world wide whole) know they are not INNOCENT! Can we prove that? Good God, I wish we could! But we can't.

That is why I am saying in THIS case, we should reserve judgement and wait on the EVIDENCE. Let <justice> build their case and stop trying to force them into court until they are ready.

I totally understand what you are saying, especially about the wrong guys pictures that were plastered everywhere...but these are the only suspects that the FBI released photos of stating they were suspects.

Also a lot of people don't realize when one is in a terrorist situation a lot of rules don't apply. For instance, no miranda warning...they did not do it because they do no have to in this situation.

He's also lost the right to silence.

Can someone please tell me what is the reason for not reading him his Miranda rights. Is it simply that they don't want him to get a lawyer and stop talking?

 • #1,207
I am just thrilled this is "shut down"...or is it? I hope (pray) they were in this on their own...but 'cynical me' is definitely not so sure...

Well there is a photo showing that he did. Which is on msm.
So why shouldn't I believe my own two eyes?

I can't believe mine when it comes to msm sometimes because they sometimes post things that aren't true. Like when they said Zimmerman had no injury to his head, and yet police surveillance video showed that he did. Or when they enhanced audio to make you believe he was saying one thing, then later we found out he wasn't saying that at all and my own ears lied to me, courtesy of msm.

Under a terror situation he has no right to a lawyer or silence. He has to sing...It's a special provision of the law dealing with terror subjects.

The guidelines say that if applicable, "agents should ask any and all questions that are reasonably prompted by an immediate concern for the safety of the public or the arresting agents without advising the arrestee of his Miranda rights." This advice is consistent with a 1984 Supreme Court decision making an exception from the Miranda requirement for questioning motivated by a concern for public safety.

Next, the guidelines say that after public safety concerns have been resolved, agents should promptly Mirandize a suspect. But there are exceptions: situations in which, "although all relevant public safety questions have been asked, agents nonetheless conclude that continued unwarned interrogation is necessary to collect valuable and timely intelligence not related to any immediate threat, and that the government's interest in obtaining this intelligence outweighs the disadvantages of proceeding with unwarned interrogation." This provision pushes the public safety exception to its limit, but it's defensible.

Finally the guidelines remind agents that the Miranda rule is ultimately about ensuring that confessions introduced at trial are not coerced: "The Supreme Court has strongly suggested that an arrestee's 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination is not violated at the time a statement is taken without Miranda warnings, but instead may be violated only if and when the government introduces an unwarned statement in a criminal proceeding against the defendant." The point is that if an agent believes Mirandizing a suspected terrorist would lead to vital information being withheld, the agent can delay doing so — but at the cost of rendering the results of the interrogation inadmissible.

There's a lot of rights one loses in a terrorist/public safety situation and we do too like no warrants for search and seizure of your property but that's for a different thread title.

This was a tweet from the press conference.
US Attorney: There is an exemption for law enforcement to have to read a Miranda warning in the case of public safety, terrorism, etc.

Quote of the night that I just saw on television.

When law enforcement was going by the folks that were partying.. he answered if you want to thank us, please please just go home!

Priceless, these guys are tired and just wanna go home.

That unfortunately is not always possible. However, this kid was conscious and only required a face mask for oxygenation. So, I doubt he will be in the ICU post op. Most hospitals have a protocol for situations like this. He will be heavily guarded, even in the OR (IMO), which does not happen all the time. Sometimes the cops will be stationed outside the OR and handcuff the prisoner as soon as they hit the door of the OR going into Recovery. Admittedly, I have never been in the OR with a terrorist, only murderers on down. The victims of the bombing may know that this kid is there, but they will not have access to that floor or unit. JMO

He will most likely be shackled to the bed. That is how it was done at Charity Hospital in New Orleans for the everyday prisoner we would care for!

ETA: He will be considered a danger to the staff and other patients.

Oh man after last night and today I totally agree! MSM was reporting one thing and I was listening on the scanner and knew it was NOT true. That happened more than once. It was so disappointing and from now on I will always listen to any police scanner I can. This is because it was obvious that the msm was wrong so much.!

IMO, I think they may have had supporters who at least knew of their radical views. Whether or not they had anyone else that participated with them in any planning or help with supplies and stuff will be interesting to find out about.

I also wonder who they may have called after the bombing for maybe money, cars, etc. They seemed desparate afterwards.
