Just left a restaurant and they had a 'breaking news' on one of the TV's. Said that LE was at the home of TT's widow - and that the parents' (or her?) attorney was also there. They had pictures of the house with LE going in and someone standing guard.

We were walking out so I don't even remember which network. (ETA - I came home to look on the internet but can't find anything)

ETA again - Found a link:

I'm wondering why this is "breaking news"??

Stay with NECN as we learn more on this developing situation.

IMO, the Miranda stuff is backwards. I think everyone was surprised at how forthcoming he was. But it was sharp move.

He is a citizen, he, IMO, knew about it .But he was just chatting up a storm, effectively blocking any of the information to ever be used.

I believe they finally Mirandized him because he was wiping too much off their plate.

If he was so willing to chat and incriminate himself for 2 days (with great info) why, after Miranda he shut up.

Because he knew from that moment on all could be used. IMO

Do we know that KT has spoken to FBI/LE? Or, are her lawyers only speaking?

I hope KT is asked who was watching her daughter on Monday, the day of the bombing and again the evening the duo were on the run!

Why didn't LE/FBI wait another 2 or three weeks to search? What's the point? I am sorry, I just do not get this time lag!
Yep, she's had two weeks to get rid of all kinds of evidence.

Interesting that their home was put up for sale the day after TT was killed in the shoot-out.

The realtor said that it wasn't suddenly, that the family had been talking with her for several weeks/month.

i wonder if this was a voluntary search or if a search warrant was issued. If not voluntary, perhaps they had to wait until they had some sort of probable cause. Just conjecture on my part.

As of 2:30 p.m. Monday, the FBI concluded its search of the Russell family home and removed a number of items from the house. It is not yet clear what authorites removed from the residence.

I don't get it either. Seems like if there was any evidence it would be moved by now.

Bet if she was a lower or middle class average joe, they would have torn that home apart the day after TT died!

I can't see how it would take this long for a warrant, she was married to the man and per a neighbor he visited her on weekends at her parents home. Not sure where she really lived, but I don't think it was at the apartment in Cambridge, not full time anyway. Something is screwey here!

I wish someone would come forward to discuss any interactions with TT in the weeks just prior to the bombings. Maybe there were noticeable signs and the family felt it was time to get further away.

So now we wait....hopefully for a statement from her lawyers, since they seem to be speaking for her. I doubt they'd let this go by without any comment.

My guess is that they just got a search warrant or a more extensive search warrant (did they search the home before?) based on a lead/evidence. It's possible it wasn't as easy as we think or they wanted to be careful... after all, it appears TT did not live there so I'm not sure they can just go in and search without reason. Maybe they uncovered something.

I wonder why she took Section 8 housing assistance and all the other things she and her family took full advantage of while in the US, from the evil government:scared:

She met criteria , made by our senate and house. Criteria does not include person must not be a serial killer, arson, rapist, terrorist etc

our law makers made the program.

I don't know if she's an average joe or not, but she lawyered up pretty quick.

If LE took anything from KR's current residence, it may have been computer(s), cell phone(s).
