how do we know that they are the exact same ones?
Well, that is the supposed theory. I use this for your memorial, and I keep mine. This way we're always connected.
If they're different, it's not going to be linked to this case.

Ok, I'll stand corrected on that! And thank you for naming the specific stores. I'm sorry for the mis-post.Hancock is a movie Casey bought a ticket for at Waterford Lakes cinema! Our craft stores in Orlando are not "Hancock" they are Michael's, Jo-Ann's fabrics, Bead Bar (in Winter Park and not cheap) and a craft store by Target (which name escapes me).
...............snip....................
I think that we really need to try to accept that all was done to find her that can humanly be done. That Casey can be prosecuted without a body being found.
It has been done many times in the past.
Caylee is with God. She has been, no matter what happened to her physical body after death. The tragedy is her death. Not the fact that her body cannot be located this far out from the crime date.
Tom Miller, TES, all of the volunteer searchers braved extremely dangerous conditions in the Orlando area swamps looking for her body. All who participated and supported the effort are to be applauded.
I think they went above and beyond in their searches, and I believe Tim Miller is exactly right that this is a closed chapter in the case. That Caylee's body will never be found. It's OK. She wasn't in her body. Casey can be prosecuted successfully without the body being found.
Please don't despair or blame anyone other than Casey.
Respectfully,
:blowkiss:

An adult doing a bead project would use better beads than what you find in the kid's section. Walmart has them in their craft section - they can be quite expensive. The beaded rosarys I've seen pictured on Casey seemed to be made of better quality beads.
So...five years from now, a guy walking his dog with stumble over some bones. Isn't that what usually ends up happening?
So.. why do I still feel SOO bad? :-(
A cross made of beads...
Makes me think of all of those bracelets Casey wears. Some of them are made of beads, I think.
I wonder if any of them match the cross?

HOW on Earth could this possibly have been KCs fault?? Do you even read what you wrote before you post? KC is sitting in JAIL, or did you forget.
The search has been called off because there is no possible way they are going to find an ALIVE Caylee where they are searching, and someone has finally come to their senses and realized it.
Thank you GirlInCentralFL and Intermezzo for clarifying about the search location(s.) How fortunate you are to be able to hear the local news on TV.
Well then, why don't you link me to the article that says these beads weren't from a child's set?
You're speculating, that's all.
And BTW, some of those bead sets are pretty nice.
I don't know. I live in a small town with a really small JCP. I don't know if the bigger JCP would have them or not. The bracelets I have seen KC wearing are kinda immature with big plastic cheap looking beads. I thought maybe they came from some kid or teen jewelry making kit.
Not to mention he says this happens on the 18th. Anyone who has ever seen a body, let alone one that is now 48 hours deceased, long before actually tossing her into a pool it would be shockingly evident that no one would buy this as a drowning. I will save the details but this theory makes sense whatsoever.
And most drowning victims are found on the bottom....
The driving around for 10 days also flies in the face of forensic evidence.
I do think the getting a ride to and from Amscott makes sense. I am curious if this is part of Annie's statement?
I hope they find her tomorrow.
It was said that the beads match the ones Casey was pictured wearing. Those were not, IMO, toy beads like what are found in the kid's section. There is no link to my observation.
I'd imagine you've never seen every bead in a kit, either. You're speculating when you don't even know what's out there to the contrary. I'm telling you, some of those kits have VERY nice looking beads in them. Others are just cheap plastic.
Yeah, I hear ya. But thing is - if the dogs hit in decomp in the parents backyard and the drowning was intentional (hence not being reported), how long would Caylee have had to been dead before the odor of decomp would set in to the ground she was laid upon. Was KC ever at her parents home during her and Caylee's 'disappearance' timeframe long enough to drown Caylee and then let her decompose enough for her scent to be picked up by dogs about a month later? Then there are the reports of the shovel and KC pulling into her parents garage backwards while they weren't home and shortly after KC had left the home with Caylee on the 15th/16th. ???
There is no way KC would've brought an already murdered Caylee to her parents' very own backyard, to "stage" a drowning, in the middle of the workday, but woops I changed my mind, I'll take the dead baby out, but then woops, put the murdered then drowned baby back in the trunk... sorry this whole idea is so far fetched as to be ridiculous... but how we will strain to avoid considering anything so simple or unsinister as negligence or drowning... haters, hate. JMO
LeLe1953: I am so sorry everyone Caylee trusted failed her. For her sake I wish someone had gotten tough. For George & Cindy, I am sorry you have to live with knowing your grand daughter is dead, I am sorry your daughter is a murderer but most of all, I am sorry neither of you had the guts to stand up to Casey.
:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
I brought up the leaf removal and how difficult it would be for somebody Casey's size to remove Caylee's body from the bottom of the pool with a heavy shovel. I just wanted to add ~ the fact that the shovel most likely would be sharp and could cut Caylee's body or leave a noticeable scrape on the bottom of the pool. MOO(bolding added for clarity)
ITA!! That was my first thought. KC's watched far too much CSI and such not to know that the biological evidence from a 48 hour a cadaver immersed in water will differ greatly from the body of a victim who actually drowned, even if the latter remained in the water for an extended period. And using a shovel to remove the body from the water? :waitasec: How the heck would you get leverage in a pool of water? Someone here cited an example of lifting a pile of leaves from the botton of a pool with a long handled net. Been there, done that. It's awkward. So a 35-40 lb body? No way. The whole notion is absurd, IMO.
I do think LP is on target regarding the location. KC gave that up in her interview with LE. I believe the theory that she gave Caylee a water burial is very plausible, as well.
All of the above notwithstanding, my hat goes off to LP for his efforts and tenacity. He's in it for the long haul, and I am grateful.
