Tes search for caylee is over

HOW on Earth could this possibly have been KCs fault?? Do you even read what you wrote before you post? KC is sitting in JAIL, or did you forget.

The search has been called off because there is no possible way they are going to find an ALIVE Caylee where they are searching, and someone has finally come to their senses and realized it.

um, prolly because Casey won't TELL ANYONE WHERE CAYLEE'S BODY IS

Great post, Friday!!!

And thanks for sharing an insider's view.

So very glad to know you felt this way. I almost deleted everything except the factual information in the first paragraph.

TES's search is NOT entirely over.

Earlier today I spoke with TES’s second-in-command at the Orlando search site, and she asked me to tell you that "searchers are still out, and the search will resume tomorrow." While I was on the phone, she confirmed this with Tim Miller.

I can only speculate about the reasons we're getting conflicting information from totally reliable sources (such as David Lohr), but I suspect it has much to do with TES trying to balance stark Reality against Determination and Commitment.

The turnout of searchers, especially today, looked pitifully small considering the areas needing to be thoroughly searched. If you haven't actually been at any of these sites, forget the mowed fields we saw on Murt's cameras and forget the media's aerial shots of picturesque clearings surrounded by woods and bounded by pretty vegetation.

The truth is that Orlando has sprouted up in the midst of hundreds of thousands of acres of swampy, alligator-infested, snake-infested, areas of dense foliage and trees. When you're up close and personal, at the edge of that barrier of trees and bushes, things look a lot different and a lot more foreboding.

To give you an idea, last month, on a sunny cheerful morning, I was privileged to be alone with 8 TES and LE people at the site where the Size 6 Disney dress was discovered. The site bordered a perfectly civilized 2 lane road directly behind an industrial complex, and while LE's amazing dogs darted in and out along the road, I decided I should make myself useful and do a little exploring like the others we’re doing.

I walked right up to that impenetrable barrier of thick green, shoved some branches aside, stepped forward, and realized that 20 feet in front of me there was an enchanting little pond surrounded by rocks and shaded with overhanging branches. I started to take another step forward when a middle-aged LE guy pleasantly insisted, “Here, let’s throw a couple stones in there first.” He handed me a stone roughly the size and shape of a hockey puck and kept a similar stone in his hand for himself.

Privately, I thought this was a very inappropriate time for us to have a “skipping stones” contest, but I acquiesced because, after all, he’s LE, and so I obediently flung my stone at the pond. I overshot the pond by an embarrassing distance, probably because my heart wasn’t in the game, or more likely, because I have lousy depth perception. “Your turn,” I told him, expecting him to mock my clumsy attempt, but all he did was hurl his own stone directly into the underbrush surrounding the edge of the pond. His shot wasn’t a whole lot better than mine, and I was going to mention that to him, but as his rock landed he whispered sort of imperatively, “Listen.”

I heard it immediately--a mysterious, exotic orchestra of Latin maracas. I’m a city girl, and I was enchanted by this unprecedented glimpse into Florida’s flora, fauna, and especially these delightfully noisy insects or frogs or whatever. “What’s making that sound?” I asked in a reverent whisper, tiptoeing forward another step.

He put a restraining hand on my arm. “Rattlesnakes.”

Even an Olympic medalist couldn't have competed with me that day in the "Screaming while Running" event that took place next.

Sorry this was so long. I wanted to help relieve the awful frustration and helplessness we're all feeling.

:clap:You HAVE to be a writer/author, am I correct? If not, you have missed your calling.

I felt and saw everything you just described. Do you have anything published?

First, thank you to all who assisted in the search, donated money, food etc. Second, after reading all 22 pages of this thread in its entirety, I am shocked and appalled, to say the least, at the people who are dissing TES, stating that Tm is going back on his word and referring to the search as "half-assed" and other assorted negative terms. Equusearch is a PROFESSIONAL search organization. They do not choose the areas where bodies are dumped. If, after seeing the conditions where the body was probably disposed of; and, after searching all areas they were told to search, TM is of the PROFESSIONAL opinion, that a further search of these areas would be futile, and that Caylee's remains cannnot be located anymore in those areas, then who the heck are you all to second guess that opinion--no less diss a man like Tm who is a man of honor? Half-assed search? Give me a break. TM said they searched the areas in their entirety--who the heck are you all to doubt him?

OMG! :eek::eek::eek:
I sincerely hope you are a writer in your career, because otherwise you missed your calling. That was an impressive description.

Glad you enjoyed it, truly.

Wow Friday!
A really great post, and thank you for sharing with us...:blowkiss:

Friday, thank you for that post.

If you aren't already an author, would you consider becoming one to write a book about Tim Miller?

:clap:You HAVE to be a writer/author, am I correct? If not, you have missed your calling.

I felt and saw everything you just described. Do you have anything published?

Thank you, Lovejac. :blowkiss: I'm tremendously flattered.

That would be a GREAT idea! I would buy it!

I would, too. In a heart beat.

I've read TES and a few news articles, but I feel as if there is so much more I would like to know about Tim. Did he always have this calm, patience and compassion? Or did this all evolve as a result of his experience?

I feel very, very badly for him and his team tonight, and I so hope that he finds some relief tonight and sleeps soundly knowing that they did so much - their best.

Friday - WELCOME TO FLORIDA!!:eek::crosseyed:

You did a great job with your description! I too have been trying to communicate how extreme these conditions were/are for searchers! So many people didn't expect the dense brush, brambles, sticker burrs, and yep wildlife!

Some squeamish people in our group were "repositioned" by our team leader to the outskirts of the woods to look and to more open areas. They still were diligent and saw things and were runners and helpers. Everyone was essential!

Thank you for your help too!!

Respectfully snipped...

Yes, I'm having problems with the A's following up these leads.

Should they even be following up tips themselves? Did they take an LE with them? Did they notify any LE/FBI? I'm assuming, tho, they took their PI with them, at the very least? My, this is spooky if they did none of those things. If they didn't, LE should put a stop to this behaviour immediately. I wish I know the entire story of their trip to Gainesville....

LE/FBI should be investigating any and all tips, not the A's, imho.

Why should they be stopped? What is it hurting for them to go check out leads in other places? Isn't that what people have been griping about, that they aren't out looking? So, I don't understand the problem.
Very often, families are asked to look at videos or pictures to help ID a missing person. LE does not have that capability to make a positive ID. Not to mention that they don't have the manpower or finances to go themselves. I believe it is a free country... the Anthonys don't have to have permission to check out a lead on their missing granddaughter, nor are they required to have a police escort.

ITA LeLe! Your an angel to have opened your arms & showed love to so many foster kids! :blowkiss:
Caylee is one of the angels now wrapping her arms around those in need & all the other angels are holding our little angel Caylee. I'm sure she feels the love being sent to her by so many. She has a new job in her new life in heaven now helping any little ones that crossover to sing to them with that heavenly voice of hers. She will bring comfort to those that join her with those big beautiful eyes & smile that all of the world has come to love so much! I too am writing this with tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart for her.:beats:

:blowkiss: Thank you. I don't see myself as an angel. I believe all children are God's gifts. There are no throw away kid out there & I don't believe in giving up on any of them. Our son, now 31, came to us as a foster baby at 7 days old. He has fetal alochol syndrome, which means he has some MR & austic spectrum disorder. He is a wonderful young man who has enriched our lives 10 fold. Our birth daughter was born a month after we adopted our son. What a wonderful year, we got two kids! Caylee was not a throw away child. I just will never understand a mother not loving her child. I would have loved her.

OFF TOPIC......I don't know how to start a thread, but maybe it would be a nice way to show our thanks and love for Tim Miller in a thread of kind words and encouragement for all he has done for Caylee.....AND all the relentless searches he has lead for other lost persons, and the next searches he will be doing in NC. It looks like that good man has the weight of the world on his shoulders. May God bless him for all his selfless work.

Hi, what a nice idea! I started thinking when I read your post maybe Santa could send Tim a Christmas card with even 2.00 in it.that amount would add up, not be a drain on a poor economy and with so many WS'ers it would be quite a bit.We could say thanks for a job well done by trying in a small way to perhaps help him find another little one.I know he must be so sad tonight. At least he tried, went the whole way which many~ ahem~ others cant say.
