I just saw the jump in Texas cases and thought if people were out in droves in this one park, there were probably many other such gatherings across Texas.

The governor has just warned people that gatherings of more than 10 will endanger public health:

Only about a 3% mortality rate per case diagnosed. Testing has not been robust, however. Still, other states have much higher rates, even without a lot of testing.
