An Texas mother is facing felony charges after police say she agreed to let a 62-year-old man molest her five-year-old daughter for $400.

Shirley Harmon, 36, of Odessa, Texas, was charged Sunday with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The Odessa American reports Harmon admitted to Ector County Sheriff’s investigators that she allowed Gary Landreth, 62, to touch her child over the course of three years from 2017 to 2019.

This is absolutely despicable, disgusting and disturbing. I dread to think what the little girl must have endured. I hope her “mother” is jailed for a long time and never has access to her daughter ever again.

Landreth was arrested on January 14 and posted $50,000 bond.
