text box white area missing frequently

Of course when I come to complain it loads first time! I know this has been an issue on the site on and off but lately I have rarely been able to post, whether I try to by replying to someone's post, using the quick post box or clicking to go advanced, there is only the grey area, no white area to type in. I can refresh a page 20 times without it resolving. I am using Chrome, and it is up to date.

Try this, In Settings, General Settings, Be sure the Enhanced Interface box is checked & switch to it if it is not. Save.

I have that problem occasional.
