BUT this is part of their Statement:
"Also, we will be taking this site down at the end of the week. We feel we have been remiss at keeping it updated and really have no further plans to do anything more in terms of events or anything like bracelets, buttons, etc. We continue to hold out hope, but feel this website has ultimately served its purpose."

At first I was skeptical of all the "no comments", but now I feel they have been saying what they could, giving the public statements that could be read between the lines.

Well yes, that's what LE usually does during investigations! They give broad hints about things, without actually saying anything. When you hear LE say they have "not named anyone as a POI or suspect..." it doesn't mean they don't HAVE one...it means they aren't ready to tell you who it is, if they do have one.

And when LE says that something is "an isolated incident," it means they believe the crime was committed by someone who was close to the victim and not some random stranger out there who is going to come get you or your kids!
