A German businessman has been found dead in Thailand, apparently mutilated with a chainsaw and stuffed into a freezer.

The corpse of Hans Peter Walter Mack, 62, was found by police on Monday evening after a frantic search of Pattaya city's largest housing project.

Officers said the real estate broker's head, torso and limbs had been severed and left in plastic bags in the chest freezer.
Also at the scene were a chainsaw, ropes, a vacuum sealer, water and bottles.

Mack went missing following a meeting with a German realtor to discuss the sale of a pool villa and a boxing stadium on July 4.

Police have now arrested Petra G, 54, as the last person Mack is known to have met in Thailand, Bild reported.

Mr Mack, 62, was arrested in 2019 for allegedly running an underage trafficking ring which provided children to foreign men for sex, although he managed to avoid prison for the charges and later started a business and property empire.

So IMO it looks like he paid off the police but then managed to piss someone off. (he managed to avoid prison rather than he was found innocent). No great loss JMO if he was into child trafficking. I've spent many years living in Southeast Asia and Pattaya is known to be full of sleezy old western men with their very young Thai brides.
A number of these men die.
