I dont hear ron yell Hayleigh.. I dont hear anything in the background .. Sorry to be a pain.. but what you guys are hearing ... is it right after the operator says "911, what's your emergency?" all I hear after that is Misty... sounds like she was saying something to Ron and then the "um...etc" . Am I listening in the correct place in the tape? Im listening to this link.. which hopefully is also correct one.

It's right in the beginning. Ron did say on the Cobra tape that he looked for her for 3 minutes then had Misty call 911. I never heard him yell for her again.

Just calling it like I'm hearing it but Ronald is clearly distraught in this recording. He goes from upset to angry which is what I would suspect. He sounds just as I suspect I would if I was coming home from work to find my daughter missing. I'd blame the person just as he is doing to Misty asking "how did you *** let my daughter get stolen you b***."

But what kind of normal person assumes the child is STOLEN instead of perhaps wandered off into the night? That makes no sense to me. And to turn immeidately on his live-in, calling her names? No, nothing normal about this at all...

Around 2:45 Misty says "it's stuck".

Around 2:47 it sounds like he says "I got his phone"???
Then she says "we were sleeping, I just woke up"

Then at around 2:50 he says something but I can't make it out.

i think the links are different in terms of quality, but i listened to this one and most of what i hear is in the second call. when the operator says they are sending k9 unit and mc tells it to rc i hear him say "they better send something bc if i find the little m-fer" and then right at the end, just as rc takes the phone and says he has "better people to talk to" i hear another voice in the background, calmer but cant make out what it says. he is taking the phone from misty so its not her, i can hear what rc is saying just fine so its not him, who is it? jmo it doesnt sound like a child (jr) to me. does anybody else hear that?

I wonder if TN was there earlier than what was reported and is the mystery third voice. If they did have dope in that house at the time of the call, maybe TN was sent away with the dope to go stash it somewhere before the cops got there. That would explain why she got there so fast because she was already in the area albeit on a little 'errand'.

That would explain the cabinet door noise that another poster said they thought they heard. Ron and TN gathering the stash and getting it out of there while while she chastises him over what happened/having dope there. (Old habits die hard, all you other moms out there will surely understand the mom/children dynamic. They never get too old for you to gripe at them. :crazy: )

Only problem is if that is the case, wouldn't that suggest that Ron didn't have knowledge of what went on until he got home? You would think that if he had prior knowledge he would have made sure the dope stash was taken care of before the 911 call was even made.

Too many what if's...I just hope the real story of what went on will all come out someday.

It's also hard to imagine Tommy, Misty, Joe or Timmy being in the Mh with dope around and it still being there after they left. KWIM?

I completely disagree w/your post, cluciano63. some kids are more likely to wander off than others. I know FOR SURE my daughter would never step outside in the middle of the night and if I found her missing I would immediatly suspect she was kidnapped. and I would be furious w/whoever was in charge that night at first, even if they were totally innocent.

I believe Ron stated his daughter was stolen was, because all her loved ones have stated that Haleigh was afraid of the dark, so she would never have gone outside in the dark alone.

9 or 10 months ago I listened to a 911 call and you could plainly hear RC say we aref..d, I called a radio show and they said yes they were trying to clean it up and should have it done soon!!

Me too, a long time ago. It's in the 911 call that is on Geraldo's show.
I was later told that those 2 words were spliced in from somewhere else.
I never believed them. Ron said "We're F%#$ed !!!"

I wonder how he knew that she was stolen. If I had left my children with a drug user hanging out with a bunch of other drug users it would probably be my first thought that one of them did something to hurt my children.

Well, this is the fifth time I have listened to the 911 calls and I definitely hear another female voice other than Misty's. An older, much calmer, a bit deeper voice.

i always love your posts, elle, you ask the best questions! i have listened to the 911 tape many times, but this time i put my ear plugs in and turned the volume all the way up and here is what i heard. rc said "if i find the little m-fer" rc said something about "nobody" and "dope" mc is very scared, and that isnt faked. it sounds like she is listening to what is going on in the mh instead of listening to the 911 operator. i think in the back ground, rc is having a heated discussion with someone, i could hear him ranting and then the voice is calmer, but i honestly cant distinguish between the two other than one is calmer and one is rc. jmo i sooo hope we find out that rc was not involved in what ever happened to Haleigh!

On topic...I completely agree with the portion of your post that I bolded.

Even before i heard this copy of the 911 I thought Misty was hanging on every word that RC was saying in the background. I always thought that he was on the phone with someone, but towards the end I think it is possible that someone might have been there at the trailer, I am just curious when they arrived. I think it was probably TN since Law Enfocement make a point to point out in the police narrative exactly what order peeps got there.

So we seem to have a small discrepancy on the times, police say they got there at 3:40 and TN arrived after....TN states she arrived at
3:30 or so...not sure what to make of all of that....:waitasec:

I agree but I also feel that after all the struggling he had to do to get custody of the children and now he is feeling that someone has taken her from him. In his world that is being stolen. She has not been borrowed or loaned out someone has taken her from him. And I believe he thought MC or anyone else would think the same that is why he trusted her. They were prized by him.

I have heard people same the same thing when someone dies. Their lives have been stolen from them or taken from them. I think it is just a word that came to him to describe how he was feeling at the moment. jmo
