They had a national call for auditions, and the top 10 starred in a reality series on MTV. Each week, they had to sing, dance and act...and one was cut. Even though the two finalists auditioned in March, and Bailey won, she couldn't tell anybody...and we just found out on Monday! Anyway...sorry about this off topic thing.

John Fernie: "My recollection is that later in the day, when we were waiting for phone calls from the supposed kidnappers, we were sitting in the back room with a detective and trying to figure out what the note meant. And there was a copy of the note. I don't know if it was the note, or a copy of the note, actually."

hheheheheeheh.... "supposed"

who was making copies and how did they make copies that day ?

hmmmmmmm this is wild stuff

Good luck to you pal, Ames. It can be rough out there.

Psssst, Ames..... try calling him Shirley & see if he likes that any better.

I was PRAYING it wouldn't come to that! (All I could think of:

"Surely you can't be serious!"

"I AM serious. And don't call me Shirley.")

Ummmm...Patsy Ramsey. Just a guess.

We have a winner! Tell her what she's won, Johnny! You've won a murder that will never be resolved because the killer is dead!

I was going to post someone's theory I found when I first looked into this case what, @ two weeks ago, now. This person, if I'm not mistaken looked into occult, astrological, religious issues. It's interesting...I'll look for it & post it tonight.
www.geocities.com/astrospy/jonbenetpart3.html

I don't necessarily agree but, he brings up some interesting points - it got me thinking, anyway. Thought you guys here might be interested in something you probably haven't heard yet.

I just noticed, on the link I gave, the guy 'mikie' gave a link to 'webbsleuths'

I still think his point of view is interesting. But, I think i got his site confused with someone else who believes P. premeditated the murder with the intent of a 'sacrifice', etc. - maybe it is this guys site...he has a lot of information - but, his conclusion is apparently not P. - so, I'm going to search for that other site & see if I can find it....

the writer of the ramsom note wanted it to appear as though this was about
"money"

but i dont think anything was ever stolen from the house that had any monetary value........

thats kind of weird

they wanted 118,000 bucks but took nothing of value from the house

can you say "smokescreen"

it was never about money, it was about a disguise

Jane Osa, taking advice from THAT crowd is like dancing on the tail of a tiger! And you got that from an authority on the subject.

Are you quoting the I ching on me, Superdave?

Actually, on one of these sites I found something that adds up - the use of cords, strangulation basically, to 'simulate orgasm' - now, if that's common knowledge, then I'm exceptional - 'cause I didn't know. Anyway, that fills in a lot of holes in this 'plot' for me.

Not the I Ching, an Akira Kurosawa movie!

I gotta hear this.
