FoxNews Reporter Craig Wall: "Law enforcement sources were telling me tonight that the man who they believe helped Drew Peterson move that blue barrol out of his house and into one of his cars in his driveway tried to commit suicide the very next day.
That was four weeks ago today, the very day Stacy Peterson was first reported missing. The barrol of 55 gallon blue plastic drum like this (shows photo) has been one of the key items searchers have been looking for recently. Neighbors tell me at one point Drew Peterson had one in his back yard and Fox News previously reported that Sunday night October 28th, the last day Drew Peterson said he saw Stacy he called a man to help him move a large plastic container from his bedroom to one of his vehicles. Both his car and SUV have since been seized as evidence.
A source familiar with the investigation now tells me the man who helped move the container tried to kill himself the very next day and that man described the barrol as heavy enough to contain a body."

Video interviews FBI man who gave a great report, he said they now have 64 agents working full time on this case along with the Savio aspect.
Sharon Bychowski is interviewed. She is one beautiful lady and a bright and literate woman. I am guessing she has been a great source of information for LE on things we have not heard or known.
Video confirms that the 'barrel moving man' did attempt suicide the day after the barrel was moved.
Thank you ACR for this video link. DP will be in the striped jail cell spa soon, imop. What a legacy for DP's children. I feel such sadness and sorrow for them. I pray that they can find peace for themselves.

Can't remember IF IF it is on the video or where I came on the info, BUT it said THAT LE had found this 'man' to have been called THE DAY SP went missing, and that he has said HE helped move the barrel/drum/container, and THAT it was heavy enough to have held a body.
I am wondering IF IF the man is DP's brother????? Guess WE will find out sooner than later. The media people are not going to lay down and NOT FOLLOW this to the bitter and ultimate conclusion.

I don't think it is Paul because he has been there off and on all along.
As far as the reporter saying Drew "called" this man I wonder if that isn't the reporter just adding that..the police may have said he was in touch with this man...that's the trouble with reporters, sometimes they make assumptions that just aren't true. If Drew called this man, and the man came over, then long ago I think Sharon would have mentioned something about another car being there that day. I thought maybe Drew went and picked up this man and the man also helped with the moving of the cars later on.
What were the children doing all this time the blue barrel was being moved around the house? What did Drew tell them about that? Wow those poor children is all I can think.

What about a fellow officer friend, who knows his career will go down the drain IF IF the news came out that he helped. I also wonder since LE did find a phone record for this man being called by Drew the day SP disappeared, IF IF the police had already talked to him just prior to him attempting suicide.
Seems that the man has admitted it was he who helped move the barrel, and that it WAS heavy enough to hold a body. But to then try to kill himself would give a different slant on things.
About the children, we don't know IF IF the older ones were in school. BUT when a four year old and a two year old are watching cartoons etc. They will not be watching dad do stuff. Depends on the time of day, Sharon B. could have told the time she saw the barrel being moved, that would or should cover what and or where all of the children would be.

I think that whomever helped move the barrel was just another victim in this case, another person Drew used..
Could it have been another police officer Drew had something on, a drug dealler Drew had info about, a corrupt town business person who Drew had info on..really the list is endless when it comes to Drew and his own personal corruption..he would have gathered lots of unflattering info on lots of people.
It sounds to me like whomever helped move this barrel did not know Stacy was inside..because of the comment " it was heavy enough to hold a body" that they probably got to thinking that after the fact came out that Stacy was missing ..

Fox was reporting this morning that "whoever" helped him move that barrel tried to commit suicide the next day.
I wonder who and why?
Do you think the person feared for their live also, knowing that DP might just have them killed for knowing too much?

The latest rumor: that a relative or friend of Drew Peterson has committed suicide, because the heat of police questioning got to him. Its mind boggling how misinformation gets spread on some of these stories. Then again, its our business to gather information, and you still have to turn a story, even when police arent talking.
FYI: the Will County States Attorney will not reveal when the exhumation of the body of Kathleen Savio will take place. However, it seems as if today is unlikely, because of the observance of Veterans Day. Typically, this is a day for families to visit cemeteries to pay respects to loved ones, and it seems implausible that a high-profile exhumation would take place, and potentially disrupt those visiting other gravesites.

As CBS 2's Rafael Romo reports, volunteers were to gather at 9 a.m. at the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Center, at 200 S. Lindsey Lane in the southwest suburb. The search will focus on lakes, rivers and other bodies of water in the area, after revelations that Stacy's husband, former Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson, was seen loading a large barrel into his sport-utility vehicle.
The barrel contained chlorine used to clean the family's pool. Stacy Peterson's sister, Cassandra Cales, recalls seeing the large blue barrel in the Peterson garage before her sister vanished.
The missing barrel may be the reason why investigators are now focusing their search efforts around lakes and rivers close to the Peterson home.
"Day and night they're working on it, and I know that they have their own search and rescue teams out there that they are working with, so they are conducting searches along with the investigation," said Pamela Bosco, Stacy Peterson's family spokeswoman.
Sources close to the family say Illinois State Police are looking for a man who was helping Drew Peterson load the blue barrel into the back of his SUV, which has since been confiscated by police.

Could it be that the police have known all along who the barrel moving man was and that was kept quiet until now. I think they have a lot more evidence then we are aware of and they are going to release it slowly..hoping Drew is going to screw up. They are looking for her body and they needed to talk with this guy to see if he was along when it was disposed of..I would guess he was not as he would have told police where to look for the blue barrel.

Didn't Stacy tell Drew about three weeks ago she wanted a divorce and he asked her to wait until he retired? Then about 3 weeks ago he ordered the chlorine? Hmm, has Drew been planning this for the past 3 weeks? If so, the chlorine could have been removed from the barrel over the past few weeks, making it ready for Drew's next vic. He could have been removing smaller amounts all along inorder to have it not be noticed.

I think the police had to have known all along...I remember reading posts here or somewhere about someone helping him move the barrel, the rumour was that it was his brother and that he was in the hospital. I don't know how much truth there was in it, obviously Drew's brother is not in the hospital so who knows? I find it interesting though that this rumour has panned out to a point, and I definately think the police know way more then they are saying and are just waiting to cross thier T's and dot thier I's and HOPEFULLY find Stacy before making an arrest.

I think the barrell helper guy has to be someone with more of a concience than Mucha. Someone so used to lies and corruption would probably react to the news that the barrell he helped move contained Stacy's body by coming up with an alibi or ratting on Drew to cover his own butt.
I think that whoever it is had some very compelling reason NOT to tell on Drew...like parents who would never forgive him for telling the truth and a wife who would divorce him for helping Drew in the first place. I think this person was horrified when he realized Stacy must have been in that barrell and that he was now Drew's accomplice in murder, but he felt he could not tell on Drew without being shamed and shunned by his family, who would expect him to keep his mouth shut and protect Drew.
IMO it is a brother or grown son. It is someone who is not a killer and he is disgusted with himself for being so foolish and can't live with the lie.
A hospital stay for attempted suicide can be very short. If it was a drug overdose the person could be stableized in a few hours or they could sign themselves out against medical advice, so it could still be someone we have not noticed missing from the press footage.

Gosh! Maybe they released something they weren't supposed to and asked by LE to hold off. Maybe offer them an exclusive when it pans out!?
I could have sworn that at the very, very beinning of this case, it was mentioned RicMims helped take out the 'blue container.' But I haven't seen anything about that since.
