I don't think he's been married before but he has a long term ex (Dara) with whom he has a son (Christopher). It's rumoured they will both be at the wedding. I didn't know until I Wiki'd him just now that his parents have been friends with the Yorks for decades, and Bea has known Edo since childhood.

Princess Anne was a divorcee when she married her 2nd husband in a small church service in Scotland.

The Duchess of Sussex was also a divorcee when she married Prince Harry in the chapel at Windsor.

So I guess it could still be a church wedding?

ETA I don't know what religion Edo is, but with an Italian Count as his father, I would have thought Roman Catholic? Not long ago, a place in the succession would have been lost upon marriage to a Roman Catholic, but that is no longer the case.

Remember when Kate & William got married and we all got an extra bank holiday? We sat in a park all day with a big screen showing the wedding, having a picnic and loads of Pimms. Awww, happy days!

The wedding aired in the middle of the night. I set my alarm, got up and tried not to make enough noise to wake up anyone else in the house. It was a beautiful wedding.
