1. We can't really believe everything we hear in the news, I'm talking about 'Catherine feeling the loss of her relationship with Harry.' if it is true, which maybe it is...but it's not like Catherine herself wrote that article...so the Bo hoo comments are a bit weird really.
2. The article with Charles and his flying...well, for one it shows that Meghan and Harry don't get singled out , which they have subtly claimed with their press releases and this has happened in the past to other members of the RF. In his defence, he was in one country for the anniversary and then had to travel to another for other engagements...it's not like he was using them for his own private use.
Agreed. I noticed this too. The DM spins a yarn about how devastated people are. Kate is crying over Harry. Will is devastated over rift with Harry. This is the same formula that assumes all these emotions over family issues... Meghan and her relatives... they really like to froth it up at the DM.
Also, re flying, Prince Charles is like a head of state. He’s one man representing his country. He’s fulfilling professional engagements. He’s got a packed schedule. All this carbon shaming is getting tedious.
All the hypocrisy focus takes away from the real issue of cumulative trashing of the environment. Yes, technology, like video conferencing is one solution, but why is our focus on the BRF? And not all the other players, strictly commercial, consumer loads, for big profit industries, big tourism on the world stage, etc.
Same with the BAFTAs. It’s a slippery slope. The creative arts are not democratic. What’s happening is the fields are becoming more diverse. And this is a great thing. But, a work of art has to stand on its own merit. I don’t see films based on diversity. I see them because they are well told interesting stories. And the offerings are so much more diverse.
I read they were calling for a different 007. Because Bond should be diverse, less sexist, etc. okay?
Call it virtue signaling or whatever but it seems to be its own theater. Harry has left the family in tears. Charles is wrecking the planet. If Will doesn’t speak out at the awards he will be branded an out of touch loser... and H&M, everything else... lol!
