I didn’t mean to lecture, in my reaction I find myself protective of her.

No worries at all, I have always enjoyed your post. I was on Hiatus for a few years caring for an elderly parent. I terminated my WS membership because I know how easy it is to get wrapped up in and I had to prioritize my vices during that time. It’s good to be back.

Such a beautiful dress - cost £10,000 then !
But what a sad life, she died in childbirth age 21.

I've been watching a few fascinating videos about a dress made by Worth for Lady Mary Curzon (she was the inspiration for the series Downton Abbey and also a relation of Cressida Bonas) called the peacock dress which she wore while she was Vicereine of India to celebrate Edward VII's coronation Lady Curzon's peacock dress - Wikipedia

Theres a fashion historian who is trying to remake the peacock dress, it still survives but has tarnished over the years, its a fascinating look at the history of the dress and really interesting to hear how it was made and how you would remake it now

I found this article very interesting. Prince Harry believes that he will be fine with money, as he has never been very materialistic. In the exact same article, it states that Harry flew in a private jet from UK back to Canada!

Okay, maybe it was with his friend, Bon Jovi.

I don't see Harry really understanding how much things actually cost. It will be interesting to see how this situation goes. But, I guess that the royal family has plenty of money.

I don't see Harry really understanding how much things actually cost. It will be interesting to see how this situation goes. But, I guess that the royal family has plenty of money.

She is not really that caliber of an actress. Something that Scarlett Johansson has, indefinable, but Meghan just doesn't. INMO.

She did not have to dress up in ridicuously overpriced apparel except for a few times a month.
Was she not allowed to wear jeans and sweats at home?? For a person that did not like playing dress up, she spent a fortune on clothes that she did not like. I don't know, maybe I am jearlous. I cringe at spending over $50 for any piece of clothing. I always think How long did I have to work to pay for that blouse, pants, etc.
