We say scone rhyme with cone here in my little patch of the UK, but it varies from house to house!

So the big question. Do you guys know the difference between a (duchy of...let's keep it royal) Cornish scone and a Devon scone? Clue: it relates to how you serve them

Straight out of the oven, no plate, with a double espresso? Wait, that’s NJ! :D

What’s the Royal way?

Ah sorry yes. So not really royal, was just linking Cornwall to the duchy for tenuous relevance :D

So Cornish scones you spread jam first then add clotted cream. Devon scones you put the clotted cream first then add the jam (how?!!)

But I like the sound of your NJ style. Make it a macchiato and I'm sold

I don't like scones. I pronounce it like cone but hubs pronounces it like gone. He doesn't like them either.

Off topic, but I loveg seeing the goodies the Queen had at tea time when she was meeting with Jackie, the first lady on Season 2 of The Crown. All the jam and butter :)

Re: scones. Love them! I have Welsh, Irish, Scot, and yes Cornish ancestors. Sweet or with cheese, love them all.

But right now we're all low-carb due to some numbers from Mr. Laughing's last lab work....

Yes that had me wondering if she was ever invited.

IMO, she has burned too many bridges.
So sick of both of them.

Can you think of any recent similar situation like this? A celebrity/royal making continuous immature decisions in a train wreck sorta way...
I can’t say I have seen anything in this context.

I really thought Harry had a fairytale life —afterall. Wayward Prince meets his gal.

All of Britain shows up for another “wedding of the century”.

What I wonder now is was that the plan?

To those supporting the exodus, why is it when they were given the option to live as “independent peeps” they chose royal titles?

What’s the difference between Harry and Meghan and the duke and duchess?

I think that’s at the heart of the issue.

Well Fergie had a pretty good run at it a few years ago. Her topless sunbathing and toe sucking photos started the ball rolling. She humiliated everyone with her escapades.

Good points. I think they had the support of just about everyone starting at the engagement. Even with the hiccups that were surfacing early on people were genuinely extending benefit of the doubt.

Their actions and words were not matching up, along with the extent of secrecy, voicing things publicly, whining and on and on is just a lot to overlook. Unfortunately they/she, (I believe she 97% ) have acted so poorly it’s become a point of no return for many. Considering none of this had to be handled in a life threatening way, they are the picture of instability and controversy.

I do believe she wasn’t 100% in from the onset. We are seeing the ramifications of that.

Yes, she too isn’t what the RF expected. I don’t think though she was as callous to TQ nor had the ego we see in MM. Even in her divorce she didn’t appear to emasculate PA.

Speaking of Fergie she has a new gig
