She looks horrible in that white ensemble. We are still in Winter and not mid Summer.
It will be interesting what she wears on Monday. The Queen will be in the house so I wonder if she will keep it classy or choose something that silently gives a finger to the RF. JMOAgree with this. Meghan always looks like she's preening in front of the public/camera to me, and I suspect that she chose the blue dress to accentuate her figure rather than to be appropriate to the season or other considerations.
She has a beautiful figure, but this dress looks "Kardashian-esque" to me. It bespeaks of an insecure and immature woman who longs for celebrity and the admiration of men. The white ensemble is just more of Meghan "breaking the rules" after voluntarily joining an institution that has lived by, and been defined by, rules for hundreds of years.
Someone above posted some photos of Princess Margaret, and in them I see a genuine-ness in her facial expressions, as well as someone who obviously enjoys couture, but is comfortable in her own skin. She wears lovely, flattering clothing, but it's always appropriate to the occasion and well-fitted: No zippers the full length of the dress; no skin-tight fabric stretched over a rather saggy bottom; no tugging at her clothing because it's too tight/short.
This was obviously her big "reveal" to the UK public post royal break-up. It's to say "see what you've lost". It reminds me of Princess Diana's "revenge dress", the target being the BRF and UK public, rather than an ex.
Just my thoughts.
I love those floaty sleeves.
I think the outfit is v elegant. She can carry the colour off with her dark hair and olive skin.I love those floaty sleeves.
I totally get that - it's just I don't see that same sadness in Prince William... perhaps it's just some of the pictures I looked at for this visit. I'm glad they both returned because I think it would be harder if they stayed away for a long time.I have that deep sadness too. It’s because he lost his mother. No matter who you are.
I lost my father at 5. It’s just something you never get over, it’s something you just learn to live with. IMO
I envy people who can wear white and nudes and look so glam. I'm so happy to see her in bright vibrant colours rather then the recent darker colours. She looks amazing.I think the outfit is v elegant. She can carry the colour off with her dark hair and olive skin.

I really wish she would stop wearing outfits like this. It doesn't suit her body type. There is nothing wrong with the clothing, but it's not flattering.Agree with this. The blue dress unfortunately didn't fit her well. It looks like she was wearing Spanks underneath is around the bottom area. And yes, the blue dress had a Kardashian feel to it.

She needs to get out of the LA lifestyle clothing attitude if she ever comes back to the RF. There is a big difference between the 2 worlds (celebrity and royal).I agree. Not to belabor the point, but she is a very beautiful woman with a great figure. I just don't understand why so many of her outfits don't really show her wonderful features to greater effect. Also, I would love (and, again, this is belaboring the point, as I've mentioned it over the various threads) to see some more "leadership" from her in the style department. She wears what's "in", but I'd love to see her branching out a bit.
Her "style" seems to be clean, elegant lines and solid colors, which do suit her (no pun intended) but I'd just love to see some things once in a while with a bit more detailing. Also, maybe some prints, although I do realize that some people just aren't print people. Could her "look" be softened some, but still elegant and sophisticated, with a few of the right floral prints? Any thoughts here?
