King Felipe makes hospital visit in gloves and face mask during coronavirus pandemic

King Felipe of Spain makes hospital visit in gloves and face mask during coronavirus pandemic

Felipe visited a Spanish emergency hospital on Thursday alongside health ministers, and the royal wore a face mask and gloves for the occasion, making sure to protect against the coronavirus. The hospital was built in the space of just a few days, and the monarch thanked those who were involved in its speedy erection, adding that the hospital acted as a source of hope for the Spanish people.

This makes me worried. I'm alright with the Queen and her children staying home. I wish King Felipe and all the workers the best of health. May they remain safe as they help and comfort people.

As for those of you reading this, I hope you are all doing well. I care as much about your health as I do for the health of our Royal Family. Please stay safe, and when possible stay home.
O.K., I'm done preaching :)

JAN MOIR: Meghan's got all she wanted and Harry's given up so much | Daily Mail Online

“And with one bound, they were free.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have finally reached the promised land of California and they are within kissing distance of Hollywood, no doubt their intended destination all along.

That weird rental stay in Canada?

It now seems clear that it was nothing but a smokescreen – a nice, Commonwealth-friendly stopgap to give a sheen of royal respectability to their act of usurpation.

Or should that be her ambition? Now that the duchess has her duke exactly where she wants him, which is stuck fast in the amber of her Los Angeles hometown, will the power base in their relationship tilt even further her way?

Undoubtedly so. From now until forever, in America at least, it is Meghan who will be the guest of honour and Harry the lowly plus one at her side”

As a Canadian who lives in BC, I wondered how long they would last in that quiet, secluded area on Vancouver Island. Not long it seems lol. I'm sure they enjoyed the beautiful scenery and smalltown friendly atmosphere for awhile but not for the long term! So they have 'escaped' in the middle of a worldwide health crisis to the USA of all places, and LA to boot! Good move, not. Especially as the USA has the most Corona cases in the world now. It seems to me that that secluded and well protected house on Van. Island was ideal for the interim til this crisis is all over. But they couldn't wait lol. We Canadians aren't complaining though! ;) The USA is welcome to them!

BBM

wait, we already ended up with this guy:

I can't quite work out which royal family this lady was from (a defunct/ambiguous one, I think) but it's not the current Spanish royal family.

From Wiki: The House of Bourbon continues to claim the title of duke of Parma to this day. Carlos-Hugo (Carlist pretender to the Spanish throne in the 1970s) held the title from 1977 to his death. His son now claims the title.

Prince Harry dumped Royal Family by email: Shocking revelations about the inside story of Megxit | Daily Mail Online
They’ve opted for a new life in La La Land – it’s what they wanted and planned.

But how long will it be before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – especially the duke – begin to experience niggling regrets?

As one royal insider – previously a great admirer – said to me recently: ‘Harry has given up everything, literally everything. He has burnt every single bridge back at home. And Meghan? Well I rather think she’s got what she wanted…’

‘To be honest, they checked out months ago. They have their eyes on a very different prize,’ sources tell me.

Behind them is a gaping wound that will take some time to heal.

‘The Queen doesn’t deserve to be treated in this way. It’s easy to say Harry and Meghan have made their bed, let them lie in it. But what they have done will have ramifications for possibly generations to come.’

You know time, as an ex-royal so to speak, will make Harry less of a celebrity. I don't see Meghan being an A-lister enough to support their royal lifestyle all by her lonesome. Prince Charles needs to stop supporting his son's non royal lifestyle so they can truly be "independent". Jmo

Wow, this is disgusting.
It really is. The email example shows they didnt have the guts to come face to face. Sad, at the end of the day family is family and the RF gave them a huge wedding so the email thing is so wrong. But yet they want Dads money. Ugh...
