IMO If Beatrice had announced her plans for this wedding to the public, the tabloids would probably have tormented her with BS headlines about Prince A. Keeping everything low key gave her the opportunity to enjoy the lead up to her special day.

Her dress is beautiful, the vintage look really suits her, she's an absolutely beautiful bride. Best of luck to her and her new husband.

I really hope we're going to get to see more photos!

Beatrice poses with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and delighted grandparents after socially distanced wedding - but there's no sign of Andrew in official snaps - as it's revealed princess wore a dress loaned by the Queen for nuptials

Congratulations to the happy couple. I hope everyone is well.
What a lovely wedding for Beatrice to have had. Kind of feels like she was trying to give her Grandmama a big hug, in what has been a very hard year, with her wedding. I love that she chose a vintage dress and the same tiara the Queen wore. She looked beautiful.

The Duke of Cambridge visited a drop-in support facility for rough sleepers in Peterborough to see first-hand how a partnership of voluntary, faith, community and public service organisations have worked together during the pandemic to support those experiencing homelessness.

As we're all in Royal Wedding mode,

22 of the most stunning royal wedding bouquets: from Princess Beatrice to Kate Middleton

Like the flowers chosen by any bride, royal wedding bouquets are often selected for their meaning as well as their beauty. The significance of the blooms might be linked to the bride's roots – such as Australia-born Princess Mary of Denmark, who included eucalyptus leaves from her homeland – or family customs, such as the myrtle that nestled in Kate Middleton's flowers, which is a British royal family tradition. The bouquet can also express the bride's one-of-a-kind personality – like Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, who designed an unusual linear cascade of purple blooms for her big day.

Take a look at the prettiest royal wedding bouquets below...

I love that Princess Beatrice wore a dress and tiara from her grandmother. I also love that Prince Philip was able to attend and the both he and the Queen look great. My favorite picture of the bride and groom is this one

The Queen set to travel to Balmoral for her summer break after four months of self-isolation at Windsor Castle

The Queen and Prince Philip are preparing to leave Windsor Castle after four months of self-isolation and will be heading to Balmoral next month, to enjoy the summer holidays.

The monarch, 94, and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh, 99, will head to the Highlands in August and will be accompanied by other family members throughout their time there. Unlike past years, however, they will not be able to get close to them as they continue to self-isolate with very limited staff members around them.

The Sunday Times, who exclusively revealed the news, has also confirmed that this year Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Archie Harrison are not expected to visit the 50,000-acre estate in Aberdeenshire due to travel restrictions.

Just two weeks before lockdown, the publication revealed that the Sussex family would travel to Balmoral in the summer to enjoy some time with Archie's great-grandmother as well as Prince Charles and Camilla, but that is no longer possible as California, where the couple live now, is one of the worst-hit US states in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Queen will no doubt be happy that she can travel to Scotland in the coming weeks as it is considered to be one of her favourite places on Earth; she and Prince Philip even spent part of their honeymoon at Birkhall hunting lodge, located on the estate, in 1947.

Prince Charles and Camilla react to Princess Beatrice's surprise wedding

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have sent a public message to congratulate niece Princess Beatrice, following her surprise wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Friday morning. The royal couple, via their official Instagram account Clarence House, shared the two official wedding photos from the happy couple's special day, including the one of Beatrice and Edoardo standing with the Queen and Prince Philip outside All Saints Chapel, and wrote: "Congratulations to Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on their wedding. The couple were married in a small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday 17th July."

Beatrice wore a vintage gown loaned by the Queen on her special day

Beatrice accessorised her wedding dress with the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, which was another sweet nod - as the Queen wore the tiara on her own royal wedding day. She wore her hair in a pretty half-up style and completed her elegant bridal look with soft, glowing makeup.

The ceremony took place at 11am and was attended by the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and close family, who all adhered to government guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Princess Beatrice gets married in secret ceremony in Windsor

Princess Beatrice has got married in a secret wedding ceremony attended by the Queen.

The royal - ninth in line to the throne - married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a COVID-secure wedding in All Saints Chapel, Windsor Great Park, this morning.

The Queen and Prince Philip attended the ceremony after the couple's plans for a larger ceremony were scuppered by the coronavirus pandemic.

It is understood around 20 guests were there, include the bride's father Prince Andrew.

Hopefully they release some photos, would really love to see them.

I just had to come here (late to party!) to celebrate the nuptials.

Such understated, yet elegant beauty and meaning for their wedding.

Well done!

The pastels and the flowers, and the dress and the tiara as nods.. just heartwarming to me!

Psssst. Am I going to need to ask, or can I swim upstream as to who the 20 in attendance were? And I read about pods? Huh? Pics so I can understand is needed.

Ready to roll and scroll as I know this thread has it all!

ETA: Did they have an inside ceremony with just 20 and then out to the lawn for the rest?

This reminds me of The Queen's family during WWII, making the best of a bad situation and dealing with it all with grace.

I also think this makes for a profoundly romantic and happy wedding, free of all the mega-wedding-whoopla. It firmly places Beatrice as a sincere and modest person in my book.

Do we know if William and Catherine or Edward and Sophie attended? It only takes 10 couples to get to 20 guests.

I can't wait to see the photos. Her Majesty, The Queen looks lovely in that fresh green and Prince Philip looks quite well

Modest and sincere and just absolutely lovely! So much better than the period she went through with those strange fascinators that got nicknames.

Just wonderfully done. And so many statements made as to the royalty group getting behind the COVID restrictions to make it a special day.

I am so impressed in a very good way for her example.

Beautiful photos, love that vintage/rustic look. They look so happy.

They definitely made the right decision to keep their wedding a surprise, no being hounded by the tabloids, no one tempted to gather in groups to catch a glimpse of the bride and much safer for Her Majesty and Prince Philip to attend a small private wedding.

I still want to see more photos of course. Who else was there and what were they wearing?! :D
