My concern lies in the unseen distress upon the Queen at this late stage of her life. She is tough and confident in her position but nonetheless undue stress takes a toll on most everyone. Interpersonal stresses are those of the most damaging.

What I like about Her Majesty is she is unwavering in her purpose and duty to the role she was born into. Those who made it through ww2 know the hardest of times.

I’m sure, in all her wisdom, she sees the rudderlessness happening in her grandson, Harry.

But she’s appropriately detached. While she’s firm about the conditions of exiting the RF, I think she knows they have to find their own way. And for HM, that includes weathering a self serving story line in the hype of what seems like a tabloid of a book that H&M seem perfectly fine with.

I read somewhere she has no intention of reading it. And that’s how one deals with tripe. But she’s capable of separating out her love of her grandson.

Bottom line, Harry chose Meghan. It seems there was always something in Harry that wished to distinguish himself, even if it was setting up all this high drama and leaving home. And he got that, and then some.

Meanwhile, no one has rocked the monarchy since Diana, or the tragic loss of her.

In fact, all the fluffy complaints, and immature drama of H&M have only strengthened the RF at home. In fact, they’ve all been very present in the face of this pandemic, and the hardships suffered in their country. And that’s where their loyalty lives.

I’m hoping Her Majesty is having a peaceful time and summer stay surrounded by family. She’s got a big fam. And her beloved doggies.

And I do think she’s got the biggest fan club, too.

Thank you for this !

I just think Her Majesty, The Queen is the most underrated Monarch in history.

She is wise, experienced, modest, fair, frugal, sensitive, and very very inquisitive and involved.

I cannot say enough things about this most fine person.

I , too, believe the unncessary drama has just hardened the resolve of the BRF, with her great and kind guidance.

The rest is dross.

She is indeed a Monarch Magnificent.

People can write anything.

I doubt if Meghan and Harry spend hours reading everything written about them. How could they
Harry admitted he would read the comments. They have PR ppl too reading all of them. They both expressed their anger re the articles and the comments in their book. MOO

I have a copy of the book, but I wouldn't say it is something that could or should be read. I do enjoy looking up keywords. For example, the word "cry" appears 16 times, "far cry" appears 5 times. Kate is mentioned 113 times. William gets 183 mentions. I'm looking for words that might be associated with the discovery of freedom. Murder is mentioned twice.

Are you curious about anything in the book?
Ive started it.
I'm enjoying it....

Such a betrayal.
He/she doesn't sound like a bright person either. Why would you post things that you stole from the Royal Family online? It's not like he stole non-traceable items like toilet paper or perfumes.

When I see certain media that mentions unnamed "sources" related to the palace or Royal Family I sometimes (not often) believe that someone did sell a story or provide information in exchange for money. It doesn't make what they say true, but it wouldn't surprise me if employees betrayed confidentiality.

<modsnip: quoted post was removed>

When I read about their home in Santa Barbara, they stated it was close enough to LA, "where they both worked" for commuting.

Maybe PH is going to be a TV producer? I don't know. I still think that he should have a go at real estate.

His visa work issues will be tricky. Throw in taxes too. He needs to leave the US many times to avoid legalities. He doesn't qualify for a special visa so he can't use his "royal" status to gain that priviledge. MOO

I don't see any issues, he can apply for Legal Permanent Residency as a spouse of a United States citizen. Slam dunk.

Or even do the "Investor" Visa, he has plenty of money for that.
