I remember that Beatrice was wearing that awful awful hat for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton because her mother, Sarah Ferguson, was not invited by intent.

I find it quite plausible, but the shame falls more on Beatrice than her mother for the stunt
Would that be the hat that looked like an IUD? :D

IMO Harry is just fine and has worked out the very mental health issues he suffered from. No better person than one who truly understands. It's just more shade to throw at Meghan and IMO it's cruel and disgusting. She has a close knit group of long time friends. A Mother she is close too. They are the people who really know her. Not reporters or Royal watchers. Amazing how she was loved leading up to the Wedding and during. Then not so much. It happens with everyone who marries into the RF.

JMO, but I think MM needs to let Harry branch out on his own and then they can come together as a couple at the end of the day. PH needs to take the lead....

I see it differently. I think Harry and Meghan are equals in their marriage. I don't believe for 1 min. that Harry is under Meghan's thumb. IMO. I wish the press would just stop. There is enough nasty in this world that cant be controlled. Nothing more than bullying IMO.

Of course everyone is entitled to their own perception but Harry has said himself that his mental health has not been good recently. I don't see a happy man at the moment. It's not throwing shade at Meghan to be concerned for him. I can't speak for anyone else but I do not put any of the responsibility for Harry's mental health on Meghan's shoulders, I would never do that.

I think H struggles with his mental health for a number of reasons, not least because of things he experienced in his childhood, and because he is living a very public lifestyle for which is he probably wholly unsuited to as such a private person. Again, this is not a criticism. I'm a private person myself and I know I wouldn't last 5 minutes in the Royal Family, it would crack me up.

I am not particularly a fan of Harry but I do not take any enjoyment from anyone being unhappy, whether I like them or not.

My post has the meaning that PH seems to lean more on MM. He was doing just fine branching out by himself before he got married, jmo.

The struggles Harry eluded to in the past were that of depression. I would expect he is going to have ups and downs. Sometimes it's a simple medication adjustment. Depression doesn't cure itself even with medication when a person is triggered. I'm sure all the negative about his wife hasn't helped. He may even feel some guilt. I think he is likely protective of his Wife given what his Mother went thru. I cant imagine when your out doing good all the press has to say is criticism and cruel remarks. If the press would just leave them alone and let them do their work, that wouldn't sell papers tho would it.

I rather thought it looked like a toilet seat. It was garish and stupid. As a woman who regularly wears hats/fascinators she could have chosen much better and this was a deliberate choice to attract attention. IMHOO

Well I don't know if it was for attention as I have seen some bizarre fascinators. Maybe she liked it? I dunno. Seems large. I wonder how comfortable it was. IUD was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it.

The press are not going to stop reporting on the Royal Family. The British public fund them, they are accountable to us.

By and large, the British press have a very good relationship with the Royals. To coin a phrase, it is a quid pro quo relationship. You scratch our back, we will scratch yours, but they do have to play by the rules of the game.

Harry and Meghan are not being bullied. Not by the British press or the public.

I agree they should be in the press. I view much of the negative press as bullying and I support my position by what has been reported in the Lawsuit.

Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson arrives at Buckingham Palace | Daily Mail Online

Well, Andrew will lose the $250,000 annual stipend as a result of this action

Sarah Ferguson is not married to him. She lives on his largess. No wonder she's overcompensating.

She stands to lose a lot of the other freebies and posh invitations she got from being associated with him.
Is it just me or is the fallout from his interview getting worse? Like every day there is more and more negative attention. I don't know how he can recover from this really - although PC has done a good job of improving perception since the death of Princess Diana iMO so I guess it is possible?

I have no idea how that thing stayed on her head. It was also likened to a set of antlers. And worse:

I don't think PA can recover from this. It's bad. The fact alone associating with a known man with his history? He should have distanced himself period. With simply no contact. At all.

Here is the BBC 6 things we take away from the Prince Andrew interview. Their points are scathing of his lack of candor and concern

Six things we learned from Prince Andrew interview

And the recept description of Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico strains credulity that Prince Andrew visiting was ignorant of the underage girls filling the place. There are lots of questions about the financial relationship between Epstein and Prince Andrew. PA did not have a lavish income and had already been trashed by the UK public as Airmiles Andy for accepting monies from shady businessmen for his influence. Follow the money.

Shocking photos of Jeffrey Epstein's ranch show 'party shower' | Daily Mail Online

And then Prince Andrew's claim that he stayed in the UK Consultate for that visit in April when the crimes are allleged to have occured in in question. The British ex-Consul General in charge at the time has no record of it.

The interview...moo... Was to defend himself, give reasons why it wasn't him. Poor me, I've been unjustly accused.
I saw the same presentation with the Harry and Meghan, we've been treated badly.

In most situations folks try to justify their actions and blame others. They truly feel the public is being cruel to them.
Both PA and PH wives have spoken out against the Royal family and like to ride on publicity train.

I just hope this isn't the being of the end of UK support of the RF, as we know it.

The Queens years are coming to an end. Prince Charles reputation is not pristine and we've not seen his leadership skills demonstrated with regard to family matters.

I'm just so upset that her son and grandson would choose to cause public disgrace and hardship for their mother/grandmother. I have tried to remain opened mined and forgiving, but that is gone. Moo, they are selfish, self centered, want to enjoy a rich and lavish life style and don't care who they use to get it.

I just hope this does not cause medical problems for the Queen, if so I and many others will blame PH and PA.

Listen, the Royal family will be just fine in years to come. Andrew isn't (or at least wasn't) the most known of the family, the generation below us and the one after that won't remember much, other than he was William's errant uncle. In 20 years or so William & Kate will be on the throne, we'll be swooning over the antics of George, Charlotte & Louis and fondly still remembering the Queen and Diana. Everyone else will pale into insignificance. Story over. Move on.

In the beginning the relationship with the press was positive, especially in the US. What a fairytale story, girl meets Prince and marries.

Things changed for many in the US when discovered Harry had never met her father and made public comments, Meghan never had a supportive family. Is that what MM portrayed to him, the RF and her rich friends? Now most stories and headlines are poor Meghan, unnamed friends and named influential celebrities speaking out to defend her. I think we've been suckered in by a grade C actresses, who uses anyone she can to get what she wants.

Yes, MM family has done many crazy stupid things. I might too, if my sister or daughter went on national TV and had her husband and friends trash me.

I thinks she's setting stage the to leave Harry, which will break his heart, in a few years. She will blame the RF and hit every talk show in the US. She craves a rich lifestyle, frame and most of all attention. She's setting up for huge financial and public gains.

Moo.
