I like the name but lately (past several years) in the USA, girls are given that name as a first name or middle name. It is a pretty simple name and I like simple names.

This is what bothers me... the Hollywood crowd wants to get their foot in the door with the RF Meghan lets them. What's next, the Beckmans ? Kate, her husband and Harry had a great mental health awareness charity they created. With Meghan joining the family they should build on that and not letting Oprah and others get involved.

Yes, this is EXACTLY what rankles me about MM. That opulent celebrity baby shower was the first of more celebrity shindigs to come.

I think it’s only going to get worse and likely further alienate the Sussex’s from the Cambridges. I fear this will not wear well for Harry in the next decade.

Meghan's friends have money. Their not going to have a baby shower at IHop. I don't begrudge good friends throwing a baby shower for a dear friend. No matter what the person's status is. I thought it was lovely and lovely girl time. It may not be popular in the UK but it is in North America. I don't think Meghan is going to forget her friends nor should they.

"If" the comments Oprah made about Meghan bucking royal tradition it's ridiculous. Meghan and Harry are not expected to choose the Lindo wing or do the showing on the steps. Their child will never make it to the throne. Of course Kate and William are expected to follow protocol. It's maddening how the press and perhaps Oprah slant this as another negative

Oprah has lost her steam and she is doing what any other US celebrity would do if they are desperate and that is too pitch a fork somewhere where the gate is open. And MM opened that gate for her. I just get a strong feeling that MM is trying to change the image of the RF. Sad, because there are other ways the Sussex's can get their name out there with out following the celebrity (Hollywood) brick road....

The whole fan fare could have been down graded more privately in a local home in the Hamptons or a private apt somewhere and still show its wealth with out shutting down streets in NYC.. MM definitely wanted to have pics taken of her arriving and leaving her shower.

I guess Meghan and Oprah are besties now. Oprah is working hard to be a Godparent. Oprah, go away for now.

I don't think ppl are angry about where the venue was for her baby shower but for someone to want privacy re their child's birth, then why flaunt the shower with paparazzi pictures. The whole fan fare could have been down graded more privately in a local home in the Hamptons or a private apt somewhere and still show its wealth with out shutting down streets in NYC.. MM definitely wanted to have pics taken of her arriving and leaving her shower.

One of the main reasons I think why people are mad because all of a sudden the commoners are expected to understand their need for privacy. After months and months of having this pregnancy flaunted all over the place. Meghan was sure to let the world know that she has super rick besties.
Today between Oprah and work, I have a major headache.

IMO Oprah doesn't need any steam she is doing her charity work and has her production company. If she wanted to be "out there" I'm sure she doesn't need Meghan and Harry to do it. IMO she wanted to slow life down and concentrate on the behind the scenes charity work she does.

Oprah crossed paths with MM but they were not super close until she got engaged . I think Harry is still trying to find his place in the world and shares the same interest as his late mom with American celebrities. Oprah is washed out in the tv show business , jmo

IMO Harry, Diana etc. etc. do share same interests and cross paths. Some are celebrities. They have the time, money and power to do great things.

Here's How We'll Know When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Royal Baby Arrives

So, People is still reporting we will be told when MM goes into labor and when the baby is born. BUT, with QE, PE and KM all visiting Frogmore, DR already there, PH with plans to travel next week, I’m starting to get on the bandwagon of Baby Sussex has already arrived. I’m confused and not sure of what to believe!

IMO the level of privacy they want is respectable. They will announce labour, birth and release pictures in due time. It's not all done in secrecy.

Harry is looking rough these days - at least in the pictures that the media use. I don't think I had wrinkles like he has when I was 34.

Given his Mother's experience with Paparazzi and her death and now so much negative about his wife I would have wrinkles too. Given this history I think the press should be thankful their giving them anything.
