Now I'm imagining what other trivial, nonsense topics are being 'chatted' about right across S.M. whilst waiting for this baby:D

I bet no bugger else is on the stargazy tangent!

Exactly, more 1515 than 2015!

And yes, 2015 was just the most recent time someone on Twitter had it for dinner. Probably about right, averaging 1 stargazy pie made in the UK every 4 years :D
Hmmmm....
Nope, I'm not even having that ^ now we need to know when the last time before that was! ;)

*Quickly slip this in before there's any actual 'baby news' to talk about ;)
.
Many unsuccessful attempts at Yorkshire Pudding but a school chum’s mom made it. Ohhhh yum.
...The secret is letting the mix stand at room temperature for quite a few hours...
Then cold mix into VERY hot tin > Very hot oven

All kidding aside, I'm sure people would have been very happy to have fish pies during the two WWs. :(

I have been trying to figure out a road trip so that the birth will happen. Cant really come up with anything other than errands and shopping. Then I remembered we have a Wedding to go to Saturday eve. It will happen on Saturday.

I tried that with our Chicago trip April 12-14. Didn't work. Saturday - Kentucky Derby, Sunday - Cinco de Mayo. Seems like Meghan's been pregnant forever!

Not so sure...we'd probably just batter the fish & have with some chips here :p

I learned how to make perfect Yorkshire Pudding in stages. Started with mini- and regular muffin tins and graduated to popover pans. Make sure pans are well-greased and place in hot oven for several minutes before adding batter. DO NOT open oven during baking!

I don't like sardines, they are to fishy and oily for me but I might try the pie just to say I did. Minus the fishes.
Fresh roasted sardines with sea salt are delicious and not oily at all. Too bad they are impossible to get in California. I know a place in Northern Spain that makes them oh so good :p

@Suglo how do you buy them like that? Jar, can?

No. They are fresh so that you can BBQ them. You purchase them at the fish market if you’re lucky enough to have fresh sardines sold where you live.

Oooh...but luckily for you it doesn't need to be sardines
Some recipes suggest use small mackerel, herring, and pilchards
:p

Allegra Hmm. Probably call her Allie for short. Allegra is better than some other names that I have heard.

Queen 'sends Kate Middleton notes if she doesn't like her outfits', claims expert

But according to an expert there is one person who doesn't always approve of her style - the Queen.

According to an expert, the monarch sends Kate little notes if she's not happy with her hemlines or the colour of her tights.

Do you think this is true? I can’t imagine getting a note like that from Her Majesty.

Thank you for the birthday good wishes I had a lovely day thank you.

I’m disappointed Baby Sussex hasn’t arrived yet. How long will the consultants let the baby be overdue?

Back in my day, it was 10 days overdue - then they would induce. These days, alot of people choose the day and have the labor induced.
Too much time over I think puts the baby in too much stress.

Allegra? That's the name of an allergy medication here. Ally for short is cute.

I seriously doubt it!
(meaning - it's utter nonsense)
I'm sure the Queen's got much, much more important things to do with her time than keep check on Kates hem line

Hope you've had a great day @gregjrichards
Happy Birthday !

So glad you had a nice Happy Birthday gregjrichards!

Oh, I can’t imagine the Queen does that. Maybe they coordinate colors and accessories for certain occasions?

Besides, Kate always looks fabulous.
